The Manchester United Thread

This is a VERY slim chance of happening but if City win the Champions League and L'pool win the Europa League, 4th place the PL then becomes a Europa League spot.

But happy Utd won. Keeps 4th alive.

That isn't happening though. (H)

Yeah...that ain't happening...I'm not sure either team will go beyond their respective stages

In all probability not. But the possibility exists.

Can't make a serious case for anyone to finish 4th at the minute but City have looked done since we battered them after the final.

We win a game and Fellaini isn't in the team, can you believe it???? LVG can't.

And with Joe hart and kompany injured, wouldn't fancy then to hold on.

They are rubbish at the back without Kompany, I can't see them getting past PSG let alone anyone else further like Barca, Madrid or Bayern over a 2 legged tie, next to no chance.

Well, Liverpool in Europa I can't see you beating Dortmund personally as they are strongest team in tournament. But if you do make it through that tie you could be in with a shout.

Well this was typical Van Gaal month, wasn't it. Beat both Arsenal and City, only to bottle it all against WBA.

If by some miracle we get top 4 and FA Cup, I have this horrible feeling Woodward will keep LVG.

I should bet against United more often. In last couple of seasons they always manage to disappoint me in some way.

Points won vs. 'big 6' this season:

Man Utd (18)
Liverpool (12)
Spurs (10)
Arsenal (10)
Chelsea (9)
Man City (4)

Imagine just how much worse things would be under Moyes who shat the bed in every big game.

Sorry mate didn't realise you were actually from Manchester. Very rare indeed.
Wrong again only half Manc on my Mum's side (and I'm not a United or Citeh fan, Altrincham is my team and they are s***).

England win the Grand Slam, Liverpool lose in hilarious fashion, and we beat City in the derby with a goal from a local lad. Top weekend.

64 points on my fantasy team this week with rashford repaying my faith.

Not bad especially when the best was 80 and they haven't still handed out bonus points

What a day and very good goal from Rashford. The way he took the ball was very good. If it was Rooney it would have been first touch with his back to the goal and a back pass.

On the other game, for all the wanking after first half, it was hilarious to see Southampton B team losing to A team. Today it must be Rodgers squad, not hearing more about it as they have won few games, now not a word about it's Rodgers team or squad. Whatever, good to have 7 points gap (with game in hand).

Hopefully we make this win count. We have seen lot of false dawn, beating good teams and losing against weaker teams.

That City record is ridiculous and sums up their unacceptable year.

Ive got 76 this week. Gutted though coz I put Deeney in midweek and forgot to sort my team out yesterday and put him in, so he's still sat on my bench :-(
