Just a question. Does it matter if he's on holiday or not? I mean if he's agreed terms and to come to us. Can't Riola just tell Juve that he wants to leave. If the clubs come to an agreement in these talks happening today or tomorrow? Just wondering if he really needs to be there or just when things are ready to be done our end.

I'm not even that bothered if we miss out on him, just don't sacrifice our backup option (which I hope we have) if this goes on too long. His holiday ends on August 9th... we'll need it resolved before then.

We will have a back up option I'm sure. But I don't think it's needed tbh. His holiday ends on the 6th but he's due back in Europe this week. If what DI Marzio says is true then it's just a matter of agreeing a fee with Juve.

It's the same for Fellaini, Martial, Schniederlin most players at the Euros will join up before the Sweden friendly.

That would still put him back a mere 8 days before the season starts.

If you sign him, and Mourinho doesn't end his holiday early, I wouldn't expect to see him until at least the third game against Hull at that rate. Maybe even after the International break and City in early September.

'Long ****** holiday' indeed. As mad as what Wenger's allowing at Arsenal.

Interesting approach. Some would say that's utterly crazy. But I couldn't possibly comment on that. (A).

Not really they would still have 3 games before the season started. Not ideal I know but enough time to get fit. It's not going to be like LVG and all this red zone guff :)

It's not just the games it's the training. They'll be starting a good ways behind everyone else.

Like I said not ideal. But that's what Mou thinks is ok so not overly fussed. Like I said they will still get game time and training in. Players that went to euros should not take as long to get up to speed fitness wise. Think they will be just fine.

should be be more than good enough to see off Bournmouth
