to be fair, the hussle from liverpool has been excellent. hes had **** all on to pass to either, buts hes hit many wayward passes second half..

Undoubtedly yes and he struggled badly when Arsenal did the same in last years FA Cup final. Hardly any Chelsea fan was truly unhappy when we sold him tbh.
 
Poor poor game. Wouldn't called us being bossed around when we set up to allow them possession, but everyone see's it differently. Decently organised, but absolutely horrible when we've had the ball.
 
Even first half. Liverpool better in the second. Didn’t lose. Top of the league. On to the next.

God we were awful, has to be said, ok a point gained, but I expected to at least offer a bit more than last season.

On the ball generally woeful, set pieces by both sides non-existent.

It's pretty much what we came for and we got it, so hard to moan much. But I just did so ;)
 
Tbh I just don't like that style of play, especially when we have a team capable of far more. I know it's Mourinho but it's really hard to even feel content after watching any aspect of that. I didn't really think the defence was particularly good, De Gea was the master here.
 
Came for a point, got a point. Not much else to say. Although you got to wonder how much Mourinho has to spend before he stops playing like a scared man, because quarter of a billion is apparently is not enough.

Created good chances in the first half loads better than last year. Wasted with poor delivery or finishing. Yeah sure Mourinho will be happy we didn’t lose just like Fergie always use to say. Don’t lose away to your rivals then try beating them at home, and beat the other teams.
 
Really disappointed in Lukaku today. These types of games do not suit him one bit. He's target man play was atrocious at times. Ball needs to stick to him and he let Lovren bully him once again.
