The Manchester United Thread

Played well and created enough chances to score double figures. Rashford, Miki, Herrera all poor imo. Martial different class! Pogba was ok playing by himself in CM. Happy to see Fellaini back as an option. Lukaku on the score sheet. Another banger from Messi Lingard :) Another good game from Shaw and Lindelöf.

In fairness Conte started it by saying he had dementia and was going senile

No doubt he had it coming. Took the reporters bait and let out his true colours vs. Jose that day, which unlike most occasions, he didn't deserve

They say there is an are to subtlety

Fuuny how Mourinho narks at Klopp, again, who isn't the slightest bit arsed, and Conte is the one who ends up getting into it over him.

Oh boy, Conte is not going to let that go in a 100 years.

Just watching the match back again. And it can’t be stressed enough how key Shaw was in that victory last night. Putting his head in the way of Huddlestones rocket last night, just before we scored was key. That was heading straight into the top corner with about 20 mins left. Yes it’s a defenders job. But there are **** loads that would of ducked out of the way, a shot like that. Great form as of late and delighted for him. Took the criticism and got his head down. Now looking fit and good at both ends. And his passing in the final third is very good and underrated imo. He will only get better with more games and the managers trust now. Likely save us 50-70m also.

United won their third game of the Sparkasse & VGH Cup 6-0 against JFV Rhume. Goals from Levitt, Mellor x2, Greenwood x2 & Laird. Greenwood is the youngest player for any of the professional teams at the tournament, Laird the 2nd youngest.

Really stupid from Conte to respond.

He wasn't even talking about either Conte or Klopp as well. He was talking about himself, some of the papers spun it, Conte thought it was a dig. Jose was actually concillatory in his response, having a go at the press and not Conte, and then suddenly halfway though, seeming got annoyed and slayed him back

Right oh. Of course he didn't.

Heck knows why anyone would think he had? Glad that was cleared up to your satisfaction.

Who honestly cares, I'm bored of watching these obscenely rich manchildren spazzing out in the media like high school girls.

Indeed. Shambles all round. Fans are just as bad tbh

The only good thing out of this, I should add, is that its sparked up Jose in the right way. He's fighty, rather than miserable (which is when he falls apart), and if that rubs off on the players for the rest of the season, we'll do pretty alright
