The Manchester United Thread

From Embargoed section of presser-

Hinted Sam Johnstone will leave the club in the Summer.

Says he happy that TFM is playing and the position he is playing and developing well. Won’t be recalling him in Jan.

Same for Periera won’t be recalling him in Jan. Is happy with his performances. But not happy where he is playing. Said where Periera is playing, there is no position for him there at Manchester. Which tells me he sees him as a CM#8 and not an attacking player.

Also said wants 3 in the Summer but will now be 2 with Sanchez coming in.

Head over to #MUTV from 10:45 GMT to watch #MUFC's Under-18s take on Stoke. Good luck, lads! manutd.co/BkL

Team-

Fojticek
Tanner-Dunne-Oconner-Laird
Garner-Levitt
Chong-Barlow-Baars
Burkart

Subs-

James Thompson
Dishon Bernard
Arnuo Puigmal
Largie Ramanzani
Mason Greenwood

United take the lead as Burkart's through ball finds Baars who takes a couple of touches and finishes really well to make it 1-0 after 33 minutes

2-0 United. Barlow's through ball finds Burkart who fires home powerfully left footed 44 mins gone. This side are fantastic to watch!!!

2-1. Clever corner from Stoke to find Szereto on the edge of the box who finishes into the top corner. Poor from United to leave him unmarked

3-1. Laird's cross from the right is missed by Greenwood at the near post but finds Ramazani who curls it into the top corner brilliantly

4-1. Greenwood cuts out a goal kick and finishes with composure. Looked like Greenwood cleverly fooled the keeper into playing the ball into that area before reacting quickest to win the ball

Indeed it's been bad, only positive I'm taking thus far is that we'll have Sanchez in games like this hopefully after today, to give us that extra spark of quality when needed.

**** sake, should have backed him for first goal. If anyone will be on their toes from Sanchez, it's him. Class finish!

Another assist for Lukaku. Hasn't got a bad final ball for a donkey.
