Not to judge him on this game. But he’s been pretty meh. Not the sort of CM we need as a priority imo.Watching the Serbia game, Savic reminds me very much of Pogba, always trying to play between the lines and positioning himself in the last third. Can't see both of them playing together.

I really like Golovin, some of his crosses were on point and just seems to have a good all-round game. But still realistically we have other priorities.
Like Mike said if we our summer window ends up being: -
Alex Sandro, Dalot, Fred + CB and LB, I'll be relatively happy. (Providing we don't lose Martial, if we do need to replace him I think).
Golovin would be a good squad option but rather Pereira get the chance. Will do well at Juve. Fred, Dalot a LB and comandi g CB will be more than happy with that. Then Darmian, Blind, a CB out the door. Tuanzebe, TFM, Periera and maybe Mitchell back in the squad.I really like Golovin, some of his crosses were on point and just seems to have a good all-round game. Would not mind Blind staying either. But can’t see it with latest reports from Di Marzio etc.Even if Blind stays I wouldn't mind too much because he is so flexible and a great squad player. Rare to come across but wouldn't begrudge if he did move because too good to be on the bench every week really.
Definitely Pereira needs a good shot this season though, idk if Mourinho fancies him enough though, time will tell.
My prediction is City dominating for 2-3 more years until Guardiola gets bored.
Not the most outlandish prediction tbh.My prediction is City dominating for 2-3 more years until Guardiola gets bored.

Commanding CB and LB top priority this window. We can use Herrera, McTominey, Periera, TFM and as of now still Fellaini.Yeah, tbf, need another CM, if only for rotation. In case Matic picks up an injury, pretty much screwed, not back-up for him. Out of the three starters (Fred-Matic-Pogba), we only have Herrera (and probably McTominay) in CM positions.
Alex Sandro, CB and another CM for me, and this window is the best we have had in recent times.

Periera has played a lot at CM and impressed there under Mourinho playing in the deeper role. But he is more of a Pogba alternative. TFM was a beast at youth level at DM until he was played at RB to give him games at first team level.Eh, neither of Pereira or TFM has been tested at CM though, right? Plus, Pereira might again demand to go on loan. TFM, I dunno, RB backup? Or CB backup? Heck, he could be a younger Blind, the amount of options he gives. But, for a 3 midfield combination (which I assume we are using), neither of those options fill you with confidence. Heck, a back-up CM for me is almost on the same level as a CB. (unless we are selling CBs this season).
