How many trophies have we won since your last one in 2006? How many have we won since Fergie left and have been the worst state since the clubs birth?
 
Utd have been in the worst state since the clubs formation the last, 6 years is it, since Ferguson left?

Mate, you excuse Mourinho that much and lay into the players that nothing would surprise anyine at all where you were going there.

We won the FA Cup last season and got to the final this season.

We finished 2nd in the league, behind an immense City team, any other season and we probably win the PL or come very close.

Under Moyes we were like 6th when he left... how is it comparable that we are not closer now? It makes no sense.

Plus our team generally is a lot stronger than what Moyes had to work with.

Edit: If we're not close finishing second, then what are Liverpool? I don't want to bring you into it but as you constantly do I can't help it. You think your style of football is guaranteed to win something when in reality, you had a good season and still finished 4th.

Conversely z, L’pool don’t have a thread bare squad mirroring up a European season to the final, you most likely aren’t second.

Again, like L’pool fans most the PL era. Grasping to hold on to anything. Furthest thing from a second placed team of truth be told and not one progressing that anyone sees as any sort of threat under the current regime. Could be. Should be with the attacking talent.

Won’t be so long as you’re handicapped by the current fella.

This doesn't make any sense Scouse, I'm sorry. It's just delusion, we are as much handicapped with Mourinho as you are with Klopp. it really depends how you look at it, Klopp can't win a final to save his life of late. How many has he lost in a row now, 5 or so?
 
Wkdsoul, still think City are another level, but saying that, United still have gears to go up. Wasn't even the big games that were the issue, it was some of the smaller ones. And Europe of cource

City were fantastic, I didn't want to admit it during the season because I always had that tiny bit of hope that they would have a blip in their season that we could catch on.

Take nothing away from them, I actually think they will probably win it again this season sadly. But take any other season with our point tally this season and we probably would of won (or very close) if it wasn't for City being immense.

After regressing the second half the season in points won, you finished 2 games ahead of a squad with a negative spend, and who sold £140 million worth of arguably its best talent January without replacing that let’s not forget, after all Utd have spent, who didn’t have the depth to cover key injuries and stay as strong in the league as they did Europe. Even though they still had a CL season alongside a run to the biggest game of all.

Two clubs in the ascendency and you aren’t currently one of them.

And hey, sound getting to those finals. His luck will turn eventually. Been increasingly unlucky in all three at ours.

It's like with Chelsea in 04-05, when a whole new points target was set. That's the new bench mark

The consistency at that level sets them apart. Lost 1 game all season where we scored 1st.

I cant see the play going up another level, but i can see the consistency being the issue for the chasing pack, most due to the demands/style of Pep. Played the whole season with no left back, and captain and still put up 100 points.

is essentially the "possible" second string for the season & they come in and perform as if they were starters. I still think United are the main threat in the league. That's the squad game, i usually make that call on the 2nd string strength (saying that we named the smallest squad last year). They have the strongest squad & Mou (whinge all you like he wins points/game/trophies).

We need to do more much more with our full backs, and if we really sort that out, i'll be much more confident. Dalot looks good for the right, Alex Sandro for the left would be an absolute dream. Then a commanding centre back.
