Never said they are great owners, said "IF" they clear the debt. They won't at least till 2017 which is why even if our revenue increase many ManUtd fans don't like them, me included.

I haven't read about 25M budget anywhere, read this year we will have 40M net spend excluding Kagawa and Powell deals.

And I posted something else, and good to see how it is twisted. I was praising them for the commercial growth alone, which they deserve credit for. I agree they are leeches, but what I said was the truth. They know how to suck money even from sponsors.

They woulnt be great owners even if they cleared the debt, they'd merely be cleaning up their own mess.

In the same talks that mentioned this years spend, they talked about future spends. 40m net this year, 25m net from then on.

Commerical growth and should have been achieved by virtually any other competent marketing director,

Your words weren't twisted at all, I said they don't deserve credit for commercial growth because they're JUST DOING THEIR JOB. There's a multitude of competent businessmen out there who could achieve the same feat as well, and thus they don't deserve praise for it, it doesn't make them best owners ever if they didn't have the debt.

Good to see Keane in the squad, he was superb for the reserves. Would love to see him getting few mins next game as we will play Barca after that, and he won't be getting any mins against them.

Also Phelan will be in charge as Fergie will be on other club business. I'm sure there will be plenty of rumors about signings, if we do hopefully it is a CM than any other player.

Fair enough if you think they just did what they were supposed to do. I read our commercial growth was almost 0% for 5 years before take over so at least they are making use of the brand to bring in extra revenues.
 
Lucas Moura will have a medical today according to the Telegraph and Mail.
 
But...why? He's a winger/advanced playermaker type guy, that's not really what you need. Valencia/Young/Nani/Kagawa etc. Surely that should be spent on a midfielder, unless there's more to come.

Most likely nonsense.. Cant see him being allowed to leave the Brazil Camp in the midst of the Olympic Tournament. Especially for something that can be done after the Olympics as well

Was,nt oscar allowed to leave to complete move to chelsea from brazil squad? And might explain in interview on mutv why fergie said he will be not travelling with squad to next friendly because he has important buisness to take care of, but im only guessing iys transfer related why hes not going!

Yeah but that was because Oscar did it as soon as they landed in Brazil. Chelsea arranged it so that he was taken straight from the airport to the hospital and wrapped it up inside a day. I doubt he will be allowed to leave right in the middle of the tournament especially before the Semi-Finals

Also why does Ferguson have to be present during a medical? Or during the contract signing either?

I maybe be wrong but its not like I am complaining. From a Chelsea point of view, this is a very good deal and makes me less worried about Man Utd :P

We can send medical team to that location to complete the medical tests. I remember Madrid doing the same thing 2 or 3 years ago.

Maybe Ferguson doesn't want another Ramsey saga? Anyways I don't believe he is having or had medical, just that it is reported by Fergie's mouthpiece I'm bit worried.

I hope Chelsea squad thinks along the same line ;)

LOL. yeah you right about oscar forgot that was wrapped up near straight away. Would not be great deal if he left for medical coz next match is at old trafford anways but this lucas thing is just crazy dragging on, should know for sure if any of this is true by end of today of more paper talk. Maybe fergie stayed just to help push transfer through lucas,rvp,baines etc who knows im the same as everyone else just guessing, for sure chelsea have made some good signings!

And no LB in the squad.

M.Keane played as RB/DM but never saw him play as LB, same with Jones. Will be interesting to see who will play as LB. Also bit surprising that after saying Brady will be tried as LB he is not even in the squad.

Yep im well suprised only 1 LB in squad thought blackett,brady played well in that position maybe will try 3 at the back?

Last time I think we tried against Fulham and it was obvious thing to say that they raped us. But on that day it was De Laet, Carrick and Fletcher played as back 3 I think.

I think Keane or Jones will play.
 
If the Moura rumours are true then it probably means that Nani is on his way as we couldn't negotiate a deal with him for a new contract.
