The Manchester United Thread

But the point is you already have top players in Nani, Valencia etc. who are not exactly getting on. Why waste over 30m pounds on just potential and chance alone, thats Chelsea's style of doing business. Don't try to fool yourself, this is a bad deal whichever way you look at it

If you are looking to mould a Brazilian into a more central role, you are looking at the wrong one. I doubt Moura can be moulded into a deeper role anyways, that will just be wasting his two best attributes: Pace and Flair

Not really, Fergie knows what he is doing, if he signs Moura I think he knows what he has on the wings as options, he is young and he will try to adapt him into another position, if the rumours and sources are true.

Its a needless risk.

As has been said, it's related to the IPO; nothing more. No way is Fergie ******* away 30m on Moura, he can find better value in the market for such a large club than a punt on "the next big thing". For that money you want "the current big thing!".

That was pretty poor match no one stud out really, keane looked solid at LB playing 4-4-2 in first half was absolute shocking least when we went 4-2-3-1 midway through second half we kept ball better and apllied pressure really dissapointed tbh.

Brazil have confirmed that no club have asked for permission to conduct medical and even if they do, Brazil will reject it.

Anything less is frankly, a massive error.

Even that is a massive error IMO. Nani is one of the best wingers in the world and replacing him with a 19 year old kid (for 30 plus million) means we are weakening our squad and first 11.

Hopefully Fergie just sorts Nani's contract and pulls out from this **** and concentrate on CM.

Totally agreed. There is no way the Lucas deal makes any sense, no matter how you look at it.

Nani is best on the right. Not the same player on the left and, for me, Valencia has the right hand spot nailed down

No United players has their spot nailed down thanks to Fergie's rotation. Valencia and Nani are different players. Horses for courses.

I don't agree with this. Even when Nani starts on right he doesn't stay as RW. He drifts centrally and as LW. He will play in all the 3 positions in attacking front. Just like when he starts as LW. Also today his link up play with Kagawa was superb and if they can build on it, we will have 2 very very good players. One of the very few players we have who can change the game in an instant.

It was like only Nani and Kagawa were on different wavelength to whole team.

Could see Valencia playing a few more games at RB this year with Nani/Kagawa ahead of him
