The Manchester United Thread

It makes zero sense for him to agree to an extension that most likely cuts his wages and doesn't guarantee playtime. He's a solid player and he'll have plenty of options as a free agent.
Not if he's expecting to get what he currently earns. The likes of W Ham, Everton etc can't afford to pay that sort of money nor are they willing on the most part. He will go in January for much less than what he would have if he had accepted the W Ham contract. He's not the only player unwilling to sign a new contract without game time a fair few of the younger players are just as bad, they have one or two first team games then they think they've made it. For every Pogba who leaves a club and does well there is a Ravel Morrison who fail.

Just nobody paying him anything like what Utd are paying him.

But yeah, as frustrating as it is, you can't blame the player any more than the club who put them on the stupid contract to begin with.

Cristiano Ronaldo shirt sales have hit £187.1m since #mufc officially announced his shirt number, meaning United have now recouped all of the £12.9m fee the club paid Juventus (United receive £13.1m commission) #mulive [@LovetheSales]

That's been one of the funniest things this week.

Sly showing all the two faced knobheads bombarding the megastore for a Ronaldo shirt ..... The same megastore they were rioting outside and getting games of football called off a mere 4 months ago.

You couldn't make the **** up.

The more thick bastards swallow that ****, the more safe the Glazers are in their position.

Was always going to happen unfortunately. I won’t be buying any jersey again this season. Won’t get one unless a family member surprises me again.

If he is wise then just ride out the contract with United, maybe something good happens turning the season. + Will get decent sing up bonus if he goes as free agent.

OGS on Ronaldo: "He will get on the pitch at some point (tomorrow) that’s for sure. Cristiano and Raphael comes in and there is no place to hide with winners like that. You can’t give 95% in training when you have winners like them."

Solskjaer on injuries: "Henderson has not got the tiredness anymore. Telles not 100% yet, still a couple weeks. McTominay recovered very quickly. He probably won’t be available. Sancho has come back with a minor knock but has trained last couple of days and is available." #mufc

"Lose, lose situation, national teams, players, clubs, it's been a farce, really.
"The players want to play but we all know what kind of situation we find ourselves in the last year and a half with the pandemic, to limit the spread of the virus, we've worked really hard to try and find a way, private jets, there are ways of getting them in and out but all of the decisions have gone against the players, want to play for national teams and clubs but not allowed. disappointed with the whole thing, common sense might not be common anymore.
"Fingers crossed, some sense comes into people's minds."
