Interim wise, I'd pick him before Blanc.

He made a scapegoat at Barca a lot whole he was actually slowing down their decline.

The very fact that you've binned a fella' you madly extended not too long back (AGAIN! How many managers in a row have you done that now? 3?), to now be looking at an interim as they have no F succession plan at all is beyond mad funny enough.

Then you throw in Big Ed to continue overseeing it all which is just pure comedy gold.

And now they're scrambling to a fella' who had little to do with anything at Barca as, let's be honest, Messi was running the show and all but managing the team in everything but name only at that other humongous joke of an 'alleged' big football club is just adding to a week that's getting funnier and funnier from the outside.

Mate, that's a discussion for another day but I was specific on Valverde as a manager.

Even without his Barcelona stinct, I was impressed with his work at Bilbao.

Special shout out for Fred’s second half performance. Was pivotal in both goals with interceptions and tackles to win the ball back to set off the attacks.

If we had a good DM. With Fred and VDB I front we might be into something

Sounds like Valverde is main candidate according to Simon Stone. Apparently would be happy for the interim job as he’s done it before and successfully. Also speaks good English.

It’s gonna be an interim. No one wants to do anything till the seasons ended managerial wise.

From the Athletic:

#mufc's five-man shortlist for the interim manager role: Ernesto Valverde, Lucien Favre, Rudi Garcia, Ralf Rangnick and Paulo Fonseca #mulive

Imagine firing a manager mid-season without having replacement already lined up. Woodward you ******* donkey.
I could understand if this were an impromptu sacking after that Liverpool game. Ofc, you can't really be prepared with that.

But grind my gears is we didn't start looking sooner (I thought the reason why OGS still retained his job was to allow us time to find a replacement). But alas, that would've been the sound thing to do but here we are

According to Mittens podcast Murtaugh is really pushing for us to get Ragnick. As they have worked together before and have a great relationship

Hirst - intermediaries involved asked last night PSG if they would let Poch leave now. PSG only willing to consider exit at end of season unless he forces an exit now - Rangnick willing to leave LM but only if he is given a significant role at Utd beyond this season
