Jordan believes data can be used to improve a wide range of areas, from player recruitment to analysing patterns of play.

“There is so much potential for data science to benefit the club, from assisting with player recruitment, automatically analysing patterns of play right through to using computer vision to extract information from video feeds in real time,” he said.

“At first it’s a question of determining which problems are the most important for the club and tackling those to deliver quick but effective results. Over time as you embed good practice, the problems become harder – hence why building a great team is critical, to keep the club ahead in the data space.”

After loan move to Feyenoord collapsed due to a muscolar injury, Man Utd winger Amad Diallo is prepared to come back training with the group this month. He’s expected to be ready in 10 days.

#MUFC In January there will be new chances for a loan - many clubs still interested.

Oh boy, get ready for Bailly - Lindelof partnership for a few games.

I always loved Rene. He was behind the brilliance of the front 3 of Rooney/Ronaldo/Tevez with his detailed attacking drills.

He and Queiroz we're probably the 2 best coaches Fergie ever had.
Is it good though? I mean having old coaches that worked with Fergie does not mean it will work again. Looking at his resume after United he did not do much and even did not stay more than a year somewhere + having gaps between jobs.
Feel Machester United is in place where trying old players as coaches and bring former coaches back as they worked with Fergie, thinking this is sure formula to work out.

Long read from Athletic

Rene was the best coach Fergi ever had. Queiroz was a defensive mastermind, but Rene was in charge of attacking movement. There's nothing wrong about surrounding yourself with the people you know and trust, such as Carrick and Phelan (who was never as influential as Queiroz) and not potentially Rene. But, as mentioned before, are they good enough now? Football is evolving as we speak.

But its a correct move. Solskjaer isn't tactically astute, get yourself people who are and trust them.
