The Manchester United Thread

Scouse still needs years of experience in comedy before that.

Jokes aside, as always no faith in the club until we see changes, not the stories of changes. If that makes sense.
What stories mate. We actually have a new CEO, New DOF, New DDOF, New Manger, Work has already happened at Sports Leigh, Work has already started at Carrington, Work has already started/some completed at OT. We have let go of multiple people at board/top level at the club, We now have regular board and fans meetings. That’s not talk mate that’s actual major restructuring. Now we have to see if it all comes together and we see actual results.

That is United under them in a microcosm. And until they are gone, your football club will remain mired in the mud.

I'll start the book on him leaving within 2 seasons. And the cycle starting again.

Sadly I’m starting to believe this mate although I do hope the decision making over the past decade or so was solely down to Ed Woodward trying to impress.

We will know soon enough. But considering that the whole world has reportedly said what your saying about Woodward or things alike then I tend to see him as the bigger issue as the Glazers in regards to footballing maters.

And same owners leeching money from the club at every chance they get.

Well that’s nothing new we know what scummy people they are and what leeches they have been. They have also spent even though not there money 😡 but you can’t say there haven’t been big significant changes since Ed left and Arnold and Murtaugh have been working together.

Given Murtogh failed spectacularly and cost you any chance of CL with the Ragnick carnage even a blind man could see was doomed to failure, its not been a very good start to that end mate to think he’s any different from Big Ed and isn’t another Glazer ‘’yes man.’

Not sure what dimwit handed Fernandes the unwarranted extension but if it was him too ……

He absolutely deserves stick for the Rangnick carnage (seeing that decision was all him) as any decent run of form would’ve had us finish top 4 considering how terrible the competition were BUT his ideal long term choices weren’t available at the time. Made sense to go for an interim and Rangnick, at the time, looked like a sure thing but hindsight is a beautiful thing now isn’t it?

I too would really like to know who signed off on Fernandes’ new contract. From what I’ve read, we’ve actually been negotiating with him since last May (makes it worse considering he had 4 years left at the time). If Murtough signed off on that then I can’t really defend it

Your right it was started last May by Woodward and Judge and had been all but done and dusted before the new year and was just waiting for a good time to announce it.

I am my biggest critic. Although there are a lot of critics out there, I’m actually still my biggest! The next biggest is probably my dad.

This is funny…wasn’t he the one that stated “I can’t be as bad since I keep getting picked by multiple managers”

Clearly his view of bad and everyone else's is at a different level. 🤣

Tidy player. Not surprised he’s decided to leave. Far to many young CM talents to compete with in his age group and below.

@oskarutd
Svidersky confirms in inerview he is leaving @ManUtd

I have spent the last days in Spain, where my steps will continue. They will follow in the first Spanish league, La Liga. I have high expectations, it will be a new experience, a new country. Spain came to me as the best option for my development. It is an opportunity to play men’s football and get more chances.
