The Manchester United Thread

WAIT!

You weren't joking and honestly don't believe you were seriously in for him? 👀👀

This heatwave is hitting hard.
Might have been at one point but a) transfer fee was too high b) player would chose Liverpool either way.
And yes, pretty much all my posts today have been tongue in the cheek, alas a bad jokes since I have to explain them.

Haha.

This gets more fascinating (way more polite word than I could think of for that absolute fraud of a 'major' club) if he gets on the plane to America this weekend.
He’s been told he’s not wanted by Xavi. And the club are blaming him for holding up there transfer business despite Dembele being on double wages now with his new deal. And now after there squad numbers have been issued. They have give his 21 shirt to Ferran Torres which is ****** thing as to what it means to him as it is.

Yeah what the **** is it with them signing new players on outlandish contracts while they still owe current players a lot of money. It's so messed up.

The two major players in Spain are absolute shithouses. That's no news. Always have been. Always will be. It's continually mad to me why anyone wants to go to either given you know how they'll just **** all over you when you have no further use to them. Glitz and glamour is a powerful pull I guess. 🤷🏼‍♂️

But lets be fair that players can be just as bad to force their way out of clubs. We had one who went to Barcelona who went about things despicably to the point he effectively went on strike twice, and all points in between from trying to unsettle the changies, to getting his family to wage a SM war against the club.

So for balance it's not just A/hole clubs who act like this for their own ends.

Unfortunately, both clubs have the prestige and location factors going for them. On one hand, you have a club molded from the cryuffian total footballing philosophy (one of the reasons they’re extremely popular in holland) then on the other hand, you have the record champions league winners that have dawned the likes of Di Stefano, Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Puskas, Ronaldo etc.

They’re scum and discard players like toilet player but if I’m a player and any of these come knocking, I’d see it as a once in a lifetime opportunity

Hence why I call him the Uruguayan Lukaku.

⬆It is not **** :D no idea why it only allows watching on youtube site

Will be interesting to see if he fix some aspects in his game. Talent and raw potential is there with physicality, dont think he will be flying coming season so will see how fans will agree with mediocre first season considering his price tag.

I know it’s preseason but I don’t see Bruno using as many hero balls as he used to. Pretty sure ETH had some words with him about that.

Watching the replay of the game since I couldnt do it live and, oh man, de Gea blundered first goals, way too slow off the line. Needs to be more proactive. ;)

Eriksen:

“Manchester United is a special club, and I cannot wait to get started. I have had the privilege of playing at Old Trafford many times but to do it in the red shirt of United will be an amazing feeling.

“I have seen Erik’s work at Ajax and know the level of detail and preparation that he and his staff put into every day. It is clear that he is a fantastic coach. Having spoken with him and learned more about his vision and the way he wants the team to play, I am even more excited for the future. I still have major ambitions in the game, there is a huge amount that I know I can achieve, and this is the perfect place to continue my journey.”

Murtough:

“Christian has been one of the best midfielders in Europe throughout his career. It is no surprise that he had so many options this summer, so we are really happy that he was convinced that this is the right club for him.

“In addition to his outstanding technique, Christian will add valuable experience and leadership skills to the squad, and we are looking forward to seeing the benefits of these qualities on the pitch this coming season and beyond.”
