The Manchester United Thread

It begins lads

They are only open to selling now because they have milked the club dry and have managed to turn a sucessful profitable enterprise into a joke and as a result they are now having difficulties even paying the interest owed on the loans they have lumbered the club with. If they had more financial sense they would have paid off those loans years ago instead of filling thier pockets with obsene bonuses and dividends whilst buying over the hill 'stars' on stupid wages just for the 'commerical' power.

F knows what time we’re gonna’ be let out Monday.

At least try behave and be civilised and remember we aren’t the family of utter ***** you’re protesting against aye?
They will keep you locked up until the next home game and force you to watch the ****, as revenge for winning.

The Glazers are not yet ready to cede control of #mufc, which could be valued at about £5 billion. Discussions are ongoing and there’s no certainty the Glazers will decide to sell a stake in the club. [@TeleFootball]

The feeling in recent weeks is the Glazers would have to bring in an investor or sell sooner rather than later to seriously improve cash flow [@samuelluckhurst]

A spokesman for Sir Jim Ratcliffe: "This is not about the money that has been spent or not spent. Jim is looking at what can be done now and, knowing how important #mufc is to the city, it feels like the time is right for a reset." [@TimesSport]

From Ducker:

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has indicated that he would be interested in buying #mufc should the Glazer family be prepared to sell their entire controlling stake in the club – with suggestions that a sale of another part of their holding could be IMMINENT. [@TeleFootball]

Looks like the 17-year ownership by the Glazer family may yet be drawing to a CONCLUSION. [@TeleFootball]

Not getting myself too excited but this may turn from our worst transfer window in 2 decades to our best if this goes through

Talking of buyouts and transfers. One week it’s Aunautovic, Rabiot, Gapko and now all of a sudden since the take over rumblings it’s Slavic, Casemiro, Felix. Back in for a big money move for Antony. Glazers seriously s hitting it all of a sudden. Trying to spin and buy the fan base back onside somehow and ease the unrest.

Good job now some serious sponsors are already starting to pull out.

It’s all a PR stunt at best or fake news at worst leaked by the glazers. Of course, they’ll say they tried and take away any accountability for a shambolic transfer window by going for targets they know are going to turn us down.
