Its the biggest problem area in our team by a mile. Can’t control a game. Can’t link defence to attack. And it’s costing us goals every weekend THE SAME GOAS EVERY WEEKEND. Because they can’t track there runners it’s costing us multiple goals each match. Oppo team gets to the byline cuts it back and there midfielder has an easy scoring chance. I bet 90% of our goals conceded this season have been like that. Obviously need more but that’s our biggest issue atm.

Unsurprising Q1 (to Sep 23) financial results from @manutd. EBITDA of £23m and overall loss of £26m. More use of revolving credit facility (sort of overdraft), now at £204m. Plus "normal" debt of £529m and £200m+ of transfer debt.

Wage bill up 9.7% due to CL football (players' contracts linked to participation). Amortisation up 17% due to transfer spending.
Very expensive squad, failing to deliver. Not much financial wiggle room for the new team due to FFP and debt burden.
