The Manchester United Thread

The Glazers were and are more than happy (or should that read Avram Glazer he is the one who wants to keep his grubby fingers in the 'pie') to let Ratcliffe throw his money at the club, just as long as they have the final say and continue to get their dividends. Yet Ratcliffe still went ahead to stoke his ego.
You haven’t answered the question. Where did SJR “mug” once say he can do what he wants with the club. And where is it said they will have the final say on ETH. Yes they will be involved as they should it’s there club. Which they have destroyed no doubt!

But Utds match going support are the most important thing in all this and know the club and whats best for the club, far better than a part-ownership group thats been there 3/4 months. And has gone through 6 managers to no success already in a short space of time in France.
Our match going support also chanted Jose Mourinho’s name during a match in the LVG era so their opinions aren’t as infallible as you make it seem.

That said, I do agree that Ratcliffe & co don’t know any better hence why this decision really should be left to Berrada/Ashworth.

You could be onto something there. Especially Berrada who had ETH down on his shortlist of managers to replace Pep. And likely ties into this report coming out over night.

| Key INEOS figures now support Erik ten Hag after meetings with players and staff, recognizing challenges like injuries and off-field issues. Kieran McKenna is no longer a viable option, and there's little trust in finding a better alternative to Ten Hag.His future, however, remains uncertain, with no imminent decision expected from the INEOS season review. It’s been noted that Injuries have significantly impacted team performance, contributing to some of the challenges faced on the field. Also the off-field Issues regarding Antony, Greenwood, Sancho & Rashford. How these off-field issues have been handled has garnered positive feedback, especially from INEOS, recognizing the efforts to maintain professionalism and address problems effectively.[

| At #mufc, INEOS want to:- Become more cost-effective as a business.- Introduce a more collaborative approach at Carrington by creating new communal areas for the manager, coaches and backroom staff.- Upgrade the gym facilities at the training ground.- Cut loose the staff who are not committed to the new regime.[

| One of the main concerns that INEOS have is that #mufc have been bringing in record revenues for the past few years but are still reporting losses. [@hirstclass, @CharDuncker]

Jean-Clair Todibo:"Sir Jim [Ratcliffe]—he speaks and jokes with the players. And then there’s Dave [Brailsford]."For Dave, every detail is important. He talks a lot about that; all he thinks about is performance. His experience in cycling means he knows a lot about sporting performance." [

Jean-Clair Todibo asked about INEOS' influence at Nice:"They bring a winning mentality." [@MailSport]

Jean-Clair Todibo on INEOS:"They changed a lot of things. They give us a comfort, so there is a mood around the team to allow the team to succeed."They put a lot of importance on being around the players, to give them the opportunity to have the best performance they can." [

9th, 5th, 9th, 5th...
Comfortably mediocre
Well will fit right in then🤣

But in seriousness they have invested in the club on transfers. Revamped the stadium and built a them a top new training facility. And got them out of financial trouble. If they do that here it will be more than what them scummy yanks have done since taking over.
