Being clueless mate would be anyone believing they've held any sort of review and hadn't been backed into a corner through fan reaction and every manager they've been talking to turning them down.

INEOS have managed to make an even more embarrassing show of Utd than the Glazers. To get the decision that should never have been an issue after the Cup win.

It was clear that they were keeping him once Sancho's price was announced. Whether it was down to the other choices rejecting the 'project' or not we probably will never know nor does it matter. That said it was poorly managed by the club and should never have taken so long as that allowed the media to have such a feeding frenzy. Let's just hope now that the needs of the squad can be addresses just don't let ETH sign any more of his former Ajax players!! :ROFLMAO:

To be fair even while the ETH saga was going on they were still being linked with every remotely available player plus a few who are as about likely to move as Scouse claiming to be a secret Everton supporter!
 
Since Ineos have taken over they haven’t a clue.

The only ones I believe we are after are Branthwaite, Olise, Yoro who Ornstien has reported yesterday. He was the only one that was correct in the whole ETH fiasco from the media.

We will begin work to modernise the men’s first-team building at Carrington next week.The £100m project will see all areas of the building refurbished to deliver a world-class facility, creating a high-performance environment for players and staff.#MUFC
 
The renovation work will begin on Monday and is expected to last for the duration of the 2024/25 season. The initial focus will be on the gym, medical, nutrition, and recovery areas, with a design emphasis on creating more space for collaboration and innovation among players and staff.

Temporary adaptations will be made to the rest of the Carrington site to ensure players and staff from all our teams can continue to operate successfully next season.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, co-owner of Manchester United, said: “We want to create a world class environment for our teams to win. When we conducted a thorough review of the Carrington training facilities and met with our men’s first team players, it was clear the standards had fallen below some of our peers. This project will ensure Manchester United’s training ground is once more renovated to the highest standards.
