The Manchester United Thread

Always cheer for yous lot to lose but Arteta's Arsenal are the most annoying whiny entitled boring *** team that are hard to root for.

Start of the end for one of the luckiest managers out there. Now injuries have finally hit, the **** poor planning and lack of depth is coming home to roost. They have any semblance of a striker today, that every man and his dog knows they’ve needed for the last 2 or 3 years, they are sat still n the FA Cup. Instead, he madly does what nobody else would do, drops £60 million on Havertz, thinks everything is sound, and a solid Utd defensive display ends Arsenals season.

He’s reaping what he sows. Without Saka, they’ll do well to stay top 4.

Very interesting talk with a football finance expert on the continued mess at Utd. And PSR n general.

I'm not too pushed TOD. He's not exactly lighting the world up? A nice clean slate for Amorim with players who buy in from the start?
Yeah he’s talanted but lots and lots to improve. His behaviour has been iffy on and off the pitch. Plus he doesn’t fit this system really. Won’t be sad either way he ends up. But if he stays he needs to knuckle down. One thing I will say under Amorim is his decision making has improved a lot.

Reported this morning SJR has invested another £80m into the club.

£80m isn't going to go far especially when you consider the club needs two new fullbacks, an established striker and probably a decent back up defensive midfielder. They still need to get rid of the deadwood to bring in a few more pennies...
Well considering he’s already invested 300m before this £80 that’s a significant amount of his own cash and not added to the debt either. And this has nothing to do with transfers. This is for club runnings/infrastructure like completely rebuilding and refurbishing Carrington. Huge repairs and upgrades on OT while the new stadium plans get sorted. To help us comply with PSR/FFP. And general club running costs.

And it’s a **** ton more than anything those rats have done while being here. You or others might not like the stuff there doing. But he’s getting **** done either way.

Happy about this

Toby Collyer’s running stats are outstanding, which is why he was the perfect choice with #MUFC on 10 men at Arsenal. The start of greater game time? Club had call to make on loan this month but Ruben Amorim wants him at Carrington and in the squad.

Jeez Onana must have 80 touches already. This is utter w.ank.
