The Manchester United Thread

Yoro off limping and Hojlund off holding his hamstring not a good start injury wise. Played some nice stuff in patches. And our press and cutting off passing lanes has been pretty good. Arsenal goal was offside. Tackles been flying in 1-1 Ht

Oh and how can you have a absolutely world class stadium that cost 5.6bn US then play on a ****** artificial pitch like that🤷🏻‍♂️

Midfielders in defence again next season??
Hopefully not lol. We still have Dalot, Shaw, Martinez to return holiday. And Linderlof and Malacia at Carrington doing there rehab.

Hopefully we get De Ligt and Mazzaroui done this week.

Also have confidence that Amass, Murray, Ogyunne wouldn’t let us down at FB if needed.

Have seen some nice things in the first 3 games so far. But it’s gonna be a struggle if we have injuries to key players without adding more depth.

Seen the footage of Yoro injury. Foot got stuck in the artificial pitch trying to tackle a player and his ankle rolled.

Well that’s great news. Hojlund was in the training video after the Arsenal loss last night shown on the Utd app. Was just taken off as a precaution I’m reading and just did a light session to not aggravate anything. And is fit to possibly play in the Betis friendly next.😀

Let’s hope for some more good news with Yoro now🙏🏼

Happy with the Noussair Mazraoui news. Sell AWB for the same £15m fee he’s gonna cost and you have a big upgrade on AWB especially going forward and playing out from the back. And will be excellent cover for LB also. And from what I’m reading will be on less wages than AWB also.

Ducker saying we are still in the market for a LB despite the Mazraoui signing. A CM, second CB. And possibly an attacker if one or 3 of Sancho, Pellistri, Antony leave.

Full steam ahead with a new stadium then.

OLD TRAFFORD STADIUM LATESTNew 100,000 capacity stadium could take six years to build & cost £2bn

Final decision: new build redevelopment start by Dec

Drawing inspiration from LA’s SoFi/Hollywood Park & Chicago’s Burnham Park projectDETAILS:

| Manchester United believe that building a new stadium on land owned by the club adjacent to the current ground is feasible, meaning the team will continue to play at Old Trafford through the construction work. [@lauriewhitwell] #MUFC

| The working group agrees that the heritage of Old Trafford should be retained. The distinctive red bricks and roof could be incorporated into the new stadium to align with United’s history and the city’s roots. [@lauriewhitwell] #MUFC
