Is Moyes taking the ****** biscuit, "best we've played this season", what the ****! We were awful. Better against Swansea and Chelsea. (Even though we were **** against Chelsea).

Fergie used to do the exact same thing. Stop laying into Moyes for no reason. From team selection to post match I imagine Fergie wouldn't have done an awful lot different, yet Moyes is being lampooned for it because of his name.

Yeh because he's made us look like fools during the transfer window and he's not helping himself with comments he keeps on making. I've got nothing against him personally but we were pathetic today and I don't care whether we've played bad at Anfield for the last 10000 years. Fact of the matter is this was a game where we were poor and we still need to address areas in this transfer window. Midfield especially. If we don't get one midfielder in we're absolutely stupid. I've never seen so many side-ways passes in all my life!

In all fariness this game was just about how United looked for better part of previous season.

Its just that RVP would eventually bang 3 goals in last 2 seconds.

But this time I do think he is good enough and last year he scored a goal at Anfield that helped us secure the 3 points. And he plays as a right back as we all know. And despite that he scored more goals last season than Welbeck. So no excuses about that.

The harsh truth for you is that Welbeck is not good enough to play for United. At least not ahead of Kagawa/Chicharito. You can keep being fans of English players, but I keep being fan of United and winning games.

Good for you. No one cares. The entire side was all awful. But sure, pick on the Englishman. Idiotic.

If he didn't show his technique, by repeatedly holding to the ball, beating two-three liverpool players around him, and then laying it off, then I doubt you actually watched the game.

I just don't get it tbh. It's like 3 games in, Utd are 3 points off 2nd which isn't bad when a club is in transition-in the EPL of all leagues. And yet I'm reading doom and gloom nearly everywhere :S
 
Also Rafael is homegrown, but not an academy player like Welbeck. Do you know anything about the club you say you support? The English players are a core of our identity. If you don't like it, go support someone else.

Nice idea, but everything said above is (generally) true for Welbeck for the whole last season. Can't say the same for RVP though...
 
Not to mention if you look at the average positions, RVP is playing as a lone striker. Welbeck, if anything, was playing as an AM.

The fact that our midfield is so poor and still hasn't been addressed doesn't help. I know Joel will hate me for saying it.
 
Must say i was far from impressed by Utd today but i do believe Liverpool will not drop many points at their pad this season so this shouldn't effect them too much in the long run. I do think they need a midfielder and if they don't get one by tomorrow then they will suffer in the bigger games.
