The Manchester United Thread

Lol, who care about any blog/forums. All forums do have some pathetic human beings wishing someone broken leg, deaths and all.

To be fair, this was from a high force; the staff of that website, because they were selling them in the shop.

SAF Please do everything in your power to sign Alexis Sanchez!, i know he was on the verge of joining Barca apparently but Bojan has thrown a paddy at being offered as part of the deal so that seems to have collapsed, SAF now is the time to pounce and grab Sanchez, the guy has unreal raw ability and under United's guidance he can become one of the worlds best just like Ronaldo!!

@Fourth_Official - Those asking about Phil Jones; fee was agreed, terms agreed and medical passed, BRFC cannot change fee, papers are with PL to be signed.

Can we please stop posting Ryan Giggs personal stories on this page? It's not news about Manchester United, but an idiotic fiasco delivered by Journalists looking to bring down one of football's greatest stars.

In this thread, supporters are free to discuss any news that may involve Manchester United whether it be transfer romours, injuries or even a Manchester United player caught buying a dogdy shirt from the local shopping center.

Just following the OP mate..i'd say its a bit more bigger than being caught buying a dodgy shirt.. :) .anyways i'm sorry, didnt mean to offend anyone...just didn't know where else to put this up for discussion..seems stupid to have its own thread...sorry again..

No, no don't be silly, it wasn't aimed at you personally, it's just something I find annoying, I have a personal vendetta with the English media :P i hate them.

The Daily Mail is the worst newspaper for sport:

Nani: I want to play for Jose Mourinho | Mail Online

Then read the quotes Nani said

'Would I like to work under Mourinho? Yes, but at this moment I am fine at Manchester United.

Seems like he would like to play for Mourinho. In the future who could still play for Man Utd and Mourinho ;)

Man United complete signing of Phil Jones from Blackburn on five-year deal #mufc #brfc

http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2011/Jun/manchester-united-seal-jones-deal.aspx

About time!

Early rumours suggesting he's going to get the #4 shirt......

Blackburn have stated on their website that it could potentially be a club record sale. The current club record is £17.5m which was when Santa Cruz left to go to City.

Maybe addons, at max we may pay 3-4 Million extra, for the years of service he will provide (Considering his potential) it may well worth it :)

Vidic, Ferdinand, Smalling and now Jones with Evans in the backround. Looks like we have a central defensive unit for years to come that will be feared! Brilliant signing in my opinion, still only young and clearly has potential, hopefully he'll play enough games next season to kick start his procress.

Welcome to the Manchester United!

A central defensive unit that will be feared, oook

Macheda to stay at United | Sky Sports | Football | Transfer Centre | Speculation

Interesting, I hope he doesn't get disillusioned with the lack of first team football though, he should probably go out on loan to a premiership side that will give him more opportunities. There was talk that Moyes wanted to take him to Everton on a season long loan, which might be good for him. He will surely be at least 5th choice at United, even 6th should Berbatov stay.

care to prove me otherwise...

Ferdinand- good when he is fit

Vidic- Good defender but is a bit rash and always seems to pick up red cards in tough domestic games'

Evans- Average, nothing spectacular

Smalling- Good defender but not primed for greatness or something same with Phil Jones

anyways how do u reckon ur gonna give all of them sufficient game time

Vidic is a mainstay, Ferdinand is always first choice when he is fit, meaning that you have three defenders battling it out for 1 spot when Ferdinand eventually injures himself which may not even happen'

Hopefully all of them enjoy Reserve football
