Awesome, Nick powell born on the same day as me and the same year

No news on fletch yet still abit early for any news on him yet i expect end of end of june mid july. Defo still need world class CM, dont know what will happen with LB position. We still need a Cm and Lb for first team.Any news on how fletcher is doing is he gonna join the pre season ?
What about this guy Tomas Hubschman as defensive CM?
He just had an excellent game against Greece, rock solid in defense and made some brilliant passes one of which was an assist.
He'll be 31 by next season, isn't very mobile, and is generally a solid passer rather than spectacular.
Ah, did not know he was that old. He looks much younger.
Ask yourself this.. why did Welbeck become first choice, he has more to his game and links up the play better. Hernandez can put the ball in the net, which is one of the most important things, but having Hernandez in the team was not for the best of the team, if that makes sense. Welbeck was linking up with other players, formed a great partnership with Rooney.
Hernandez is a poacher, more of an impact sub when you have someone like Welbeck who is getting better with his finishing and has more to his game as well, linking up other players within the team etc.
Totally disagree. Hernandez lost his place due to injury and his seizure problem (which united tried to downplay) at the start of the season. He has played tournament football for the last 2 English summers so hasn't had a break since united signed him. Fergie said he was never match fit throughout the whole season.
During his first season he wasn't considered one dimensional. I remember plenty of one twos with Rooney and he played plenty of nice passes in to create chances for others.
Welbeck certainly has a more rounded game, but lacks the raw pace and pure finishing of Chicharito. Welbecks ever increasing tendency to drop deeper and hold up/dictate the play reminds me more and more of early Kanu, younger forum members may scoff at this, but Kanu was world class in his pomp.
Contrary to your point, i found Welbecks partnership with Rooney very disappointing at times this season, and with Hernandez and Berba on the bench i wondered exactly what Fergie was thinking.
Nice to see Fergie moving to sign Nick Powell early. Was highly annoyed when we didn't seal the Ramsey deal and let the talk of pretty, pointless football at Arsenal get in his mind.
This coming season is going to be a big one for Nani. I wasn't Ashley Youngs biggest fan, but he's starting to grow on me, now with Kagawa liekly to play wide and Valencia ending the season as a nailed on starter for me, Nani really needs to prove he is the next C Ronaldo as he clearly thinks he is, or i suggest we sell him.
I think it's always been fairly obvious that Hernandez was a fairly limited player. Even in his first season his first touch was a bit **** most of the time and he's hardly known for his link up play. It was never a problem then because he was in good goalscoring form and I'm sure if he does likewise next season it won't be a problem again.Totally disagree. Your last paragraph seems ludicrously harsh on Nani. I don't think he's ever done anything to suggest he thinks he is anything like Ronaldo he doesn't even play in a similar style; people just can't seem to get past the fact that they are both Portuguese wingers who played for Sporting Lisbon and United.
I'd be pretty annoyed if we signed Kagawa just for his arrival to force one of our best players, who's already adjusted to this league, out the door.
Of course Welbeck and Rooney partnership had bland moments within the season, but there was way more positives, they linked up with some cracking stuff and it was by far a better partnership than Hernandez and Rooney in my honest opinion. Hernandez is good do not get me wrong, but I think Welbeck is just better for the team, like you said "more rounded game" and I disagree Welbeck has plenty of pace, Hernandez's finishing is undoubtedly better at the moment but Welbeck will only get better in that department (lovely goal against Belguim).
I also think Hernandez losing his place was down to Welbeck but at times he would of needed a rest as well, but even when he was fit and raring to go he was not first choice over Welbeck.
Great signing Nick Powell, looks like a gem and one for the future. I would just like to see a versatile destroyer type CM and Luka Modric as well maybe.
Think most likely strootman, asamoah read somewhere today asamoah will anounce which club in europe he will be playing for in the next couple of days.Strootman, M'Vila, Martinez, Asamoah, Nainggolan; anyone of them now and I'm happy. Anyone else would just be a bonus.

just got a feeling he will end up at juve, and i think it depends if fergie can gets modric if we sign him i think that will be it signings wise.Yeah I read that earlier, I'd prefer Strootman but Asamoah isn't a bad alternative.
