The Manchester United Thread

Are you watching the same match as me? So far United (Either of them) have hardly created anything note worthy, and either team could easily be 1 or 2 up. Very even match so far, and if it continues like this I could easily see it being a draw or Newcastle win tbh...
98 in your nick is year of your birth, right? Mate, I was being sarcastic, we are playing like **** whole season. We are unlucky (or missing that extra something, winning mentality, call it whatever you like) with our chances and the way we conceded goals. So many defensive errors and lucky bounces when in opp's what. They are doing what United were doing for past 15 years I follow them.

No actually, it's meant to be 88 :P

Fair enough, wasn't exactly obvious it was sarcasm though...

****, I thought you were a kid. Sarcasm is only thing I have left after half season like this. I'm tiered of being positive, and I refuse to be negative.

Fair enough, if it makes you feel better you are still a position higher than we (Arsenal) were at this time last season, so top 4 is still a real possibility!

Fellaini seems to be dicking around on his phone, not in the XI or on the bench. Clevs and Jones devoid of ideas, RVP seemingly injured from the start - and more playing 4-4-2.

Poor showing today.

What Newcastle players have to do to get yellow card? How many fouls they need to make?

Cabaye got rightly booked, but the game barely had any poor tackles in it.

United were outclassed today, poor showing from them. Seemed like there was nothing to them. Incredibly rigid, but with Jones/Cleverly in the centre, what can you expect?

Wtf was Moyes doing today once again?!

He's unable to motivate/inspire players and/or players dont fear him (would you? what has he ever done in his career which is on a par with what the players have done). Newcastle went in front in the 67th minute and after that did we ever attack or properly press did we fck. 48% possession?!

And dont get me started on his changes: on top of being unable to change tactically he can only change like for like. Even at that who puts an untried youngster in the place of the one player who can produce something out of nothing when you are chasing the match?!

And putting Valencia at rb is not big/clever/revolutionary.

When will we effin wake up and show our displeasure at what he is doing to our beloved UTD?! This is NOT a kneejerk reaction. Im too old and have been too long a UTD supporter for that.

The chosen one my ***.

A note to people who are saying there were no bad tackles: what match have you been watching?! There were at least 3 yellow card worth tackles made by Newcastle players ...

Got to spend big in January to get top 4..... Moyes is on very thin ice, I am at the point where I am questioning everything he does.

There were also at least a couple of times Man Utd player could/should of been booked for diving, but they weren't.

Chill. Moyes is the next SAF, remember?

I don't understand how Moyes can be compared with SAF, the only slightly connection is that they are both Scottish.

But when we appointed Fergie, he was already someone proven... arguably at the top level, in Europe with Aberdeen etc.

David Moyes on the other hand.... did a pretty good job stabilising Everton and obviously.... Preston. Nothing to talk about of any note in Europe, it in my opinion was just a stupid appointment from the start, the players don't even look motivated to perform for him.

They kicked, punched, made 5-6 cynical tackles to stop our counter attacks. Tiote made 6 fouls, ref didn't even talk with him. Ref was aweful today.

Outclassed? Outplayed yes, but in no way, shape of form we were outclassed.

Only Evra near the end.

And Phil Jones in the first half (Think it was Phil Jones), where it looked like Colo was going to foul him, but he moved his foot out of the way just before he got to Jones and PJ went down writhing in agony...

You said we lack identity. So I'll ask again, what is Manchester United identity? When did this 'lack of identity' start?

Fantastic wing play, attack with numbers in the box and attack no matter what.

Now we don't attack with more than 3 players and 2 in the box.

while ive always respected and admired moyes record and work @Everton i always felt his philosophy does not fit with united's attacking mindedness. that and Felliani has not performed at all for him, but to be fair other than Rooney, Van Perise the rest of the utd teamsheets do not look as intimidating as it did for years. and to be fair alot of the weaker names were bought and there before moyes too. still a result like that at home today is not good enough for a club of uniteds stature. hes under pressure now

who should utd bring in? who should go out? is there money in the bank for it?

comes in roundabouts really. Against Everton, your guys had a few naughty tackles, like that high foot down that fella's thigh. Then that Vidic cruncher etc.

Shout out to Tiote. Thought he was outstanding today.

**** players. The only thing United must do is finish in the top 4. In the summer Moyes can build his own team and own ideas how the team should be managed. Actually **** that, it will take a few summers in order for him to build his own thing.

If the Everton from the last 10 years can't convince you Moyes is really good, nothing will. Also, saying Moyes hasn't won anyhing with Everton.. Well, winning the title in England is really hard, winning it with Everton is harder.

Still jealous you got him as a manager. Give him ******* time. Finish in the top 4. That's all.

We got Jose and we are still not sure we will win anything this season.
