We running out of options for CB? No Vermaelen and no Hummels mean our targets mostly maybe Mehdi Benatia and Elaquim Mangala? Since de Vrij is gone now.. Both will be horribly expensive, and I think City were linked with the both of them too..?

Even after promoting Micheal Keane, we still need another CB, due to having a 3 CB system, with two our CB being injury prone..

There are loads of CBs out there, the ones you have mentioned are just who press think were after. If we fail or LVG trusts the youngsters that's good enough for me, Keane and Blackett were class on tour not to forget Tom Thorpe who has been immense for Reserves and all youth coaching staff rate extremely highly.

As much as I love youngsters, I don't really feel that is the way to go about it.. You gradually integrate youngsters into the squad. Throwing all of them into the deep-end is quite a risky maneuver;; I wouldn't have worried so much about it, if our current 3 CB were brilliant. They haven't yet reached their potential to that extent, so one more CB is probably for the best atm..

I think Evans,Smalling,Jones more than good enough to start IF we don't bring in a CB, they are young but have lots of experience already. Then blood Blackett,Keane,Thorpe around them in cup games and lower Prem teams. Anyway like I said there are CBs out there, but im sure LVG does trust them!

Can they all stay fit for more than 3 games in a row? Probably not. That's why we badly need another experienced CB as Blackett and Keane are good but I think it's too much to ask them to play a pivotal role this season. The odd game here and there but don't want them being a regular in a pivotal season if 1 of them 3 gets injured.

Just watching Utd in press one of the Journos just said that LVG said to him in training in the states, could not believe quality of the youngsters who were on tour :)

Ogden basically saying that when mentioning transfers round Utd to anyone he just gets brushed off or they say they don't know anything about who club wants.

Ogden saying LVG wanted to take Wilson on tour but could not due to a hand injury he wanted him to get right.

Few reports going round that Juve are monitoring the Nani situation, after being informed he has been transfer listed by LVG.

MEN reporting LVG has cooled his interest in Hummels as he wants a left footed CB, also could move for Blind.

Rumours about Juan Cuadrado now on SSN and other sports sites.

£30m+ seems to be the fee touted?

Seeing Fabio in a Cardiff shirt playing in the championship kinda makes me sad that he didn't make the grade here. Having twins playing both full back slots would have been cool.
