Nicholas Rigg@nicholasrigg Follow Vietto's agent says player's release clause €10m and he could leave in summer. Gonna be a steal for someone. We should be in for this guy! 10 euros :O

Be somewhere in germany or someone like liverpool or Juve, we'd probably rather spend 30-40m on cavani because he's marquee and woody loves that ****.

We could easily buy both, having sold RVP and let Falcao go.

Agree think we need 2 new STRs tbh. As RVP is on the decline and Falcao has not worked out, but not all his fault. Will be better next year. Would be happy with Cavani and 1 of Lacazette,Dybala,Vietto.

Depay - Rooney/Cavani - Vietto in a front 3 would be ******* nasty if they clicked.

What is your opinion on Cavani Mike? I personally think the premier league would really suit him, especially if he was the main man for a team not like at PSG.

I think he has about 19 gls in 31 apps so far. Not bad as he plays out wide mostly. Wasted at PSG!

Oh yeah I agree, he has the physicality and technical ability IMO to be a top top striker in the PL, I just know on this site he divides opinion.

Divides opinion with most fans on and off the internet, atleast with the ones i know. A city fan wanted us to waste our money on him last summer because he thinks he'd flop.

I'm on the fence with him.

I think any transfer can be risk, but like you say has all attributes to be a top Prem STR. Going on his record past I would take him in a heartbeat!

The way i feel about our strikers atm i'd take anyone half decent over falcao and rvp.

That's what I thought about Falcao. Besides, what makes you sure he wouldn't be played out of position by van Gaal?

Difference with Falcao is he is coming off a major injury rushed back way to early and is in a new league and new country. LVG does not tend to play players out of possition.

You play him through the middle and he would be devastating, great link play and movement. Powerful in the air too. Not super creative, so actually buying a quick creative player like Vietto (who can go wide) is a great alternative option. Versatile too. He would not always want to be out here, but you could use him on the right to specifically attack a full back tactically.

He has form for it, at Ajax, Bayern and Barca, and United. He's more known for shoehorning players into a system rather than change his system, always has been.

Agreed, plus Cavani would also obviously be in a new league and new country. I mean, isn't part of the criticism against van Gaal his use of Di Maria and Rooney?

Fellaini forward, mata cm, rooney cm, di maria up top and i might be missing some not sure how dreams can say he doesn't do it.

In Barca he famously played Rivaldo on the wing to fit 4-3-3 formation and in Bayern he reinvented Schweinsteiger from winger to defensive midfielder.
