Falcao,Rafa,Wilson,Valdes all played for the u21s tonight in a 1-1 draw was a dire game tbh. Rafa scored our goal with a great lob over the keeper.

Was Savic gash or not given a chance, was he there only 1 season?

No, he was terrible, positional sense was awful for a player at that level, game was too fast he couldnt recover in time, unlike say Richards who had the same issue but the pace to get back to correct it

Oh right could not really remember tbh. Just thought it was a bit rash after 1 season to get rid considering his age and new league. Turning out good now though seen few top clubs linked abroad.

2 years back, we just came off finishing 6th and won the CL through some very good luck. Please show me where I said Chelsea had a very good team. Only thing I said was that Mata was world-class but unfortunately, one world-class player does not make a world-class team. It was a very limited team in Jose's first season. No striker and completely unbalanced midfield which prevented us from challenging for the title since Ancelloti left. He took that limited team to a title challenge despite having CL commitments. Am I saying it's a terrible team? No I am saying it was a limited team. Catch the nuance

Same with LVG. He doesn't have a very good squad and it's limited but it does have some world-class talent like Falcao, RVP, Di Maria, Rooney, Mata, De Gea, Januzaj and Herrera. He should be doing far better especially when compared to what Jose achievieved with a smiliarly limited squad that did have talented players in Hazard, Oscar as you mentioned

Pointless comparing the two situations tbh. Your team had glaring issues that were obvious to everybody and easily fixed with 2-3 transfers. Apart from that, Chelsea had very solid spine in its superb and well established backline. **** of a lot easier for a manager to smooth into new job, when entire defensive formation is already rock solid and doesn't need any tinkering. Man for man none of your defenders would probably compete for conqueror of the universe award, but as a formation they're pretty much the best in the world. When in doubt, just lock down the shop. Di Mateo, Benitez and Mourinho all relied on it very frequently.

In the meantime United post-Moyes was so unbalanced, half of pundits don't even agree where they should strengthen. 200m spend on transfers last 2 years and still the only people that aren't question as starters are De Gea and Rooney.

That, and injury problems they've had are absurd, I can't think of any other top club that has to play two wingers as full backs on regular basis.

I would not be surprised, but if rumours are true going round in Holland Depay is one of our main targets and has even spoke with LVG.

Depay would be a good signing and one that would not break the bank - I'd be tempted to say he would be the better option allowing you to strengthen other areas as well

Only if they go for Pogba as well, its one marquee a year until the court case or new sponsership deal is announced.

Thats true... With Yaya supposedly leaving, i think Pogba may be the priority

I can see United not even hesitating to spend any amount on Bale. I would say City would also be interested but FFP may stop that

Would be very surprised to see us spending 100 Million on Bale, no way he is worth anywhere near that. If it's around 50 Million then we might. Would be excellent addition to the team, his pace and finishing is very good.

You may overpay but without doubt it would be a fantastic signing nonetheless

Yeah we will overpay for sure if we ever sign him but if we ever pay 100 plus million on Bale then I will lose all the hope on Woodward. You can sign any player in the world you want to except 4 or 5 players for that money.

Dont get me wrong, i'm not saying he is worth that amount but there would not be many better options in world football than Bale barring the obvious top 5

Played and lived in England, been very successful (at least for one season) so wouldn't take much time, if any, to adapt to surroundings

If he was to sign people may bulk at the price but i'm almost positive United would see the benefits very quickly

I agree, chances of Bale playing well is much higher than any player as he did exceptionally well in league and won PFA player of the year award twice but still can't agree with the rumored price. We can buy excellent midfielder plus winger for that price.

Sadly, if we do not make top 4, Van gaal will be gone
If he doesn't get top4, then he 'should' be gone. With the amount of players he spent, and the amount of really good players we have, it 'shouldn't' be that hard. But for some reason it is. Yes, injuries slowed him down, but he also made some late calls, like overplaying unfit Falcao with hope he'll find his trigger again, something clubs can't do in Uniteds position. I really hope he stays, but I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves at the end of the season. And then problems starts all over again.
