..... Yeah happy with not having shot at winning league any time sooner before he packs his bags.
Keep on telling yerself that too.
Or that you're any closer.

No he is not. At one end you are saying Jose achieved all that and more and on the other hand you are saying Pep failed in Europe when they both have won 2 CL titles and Pep at least reach semi finals in every season.
What has Jose done that puts him ahead of others? We are not talking about the past. In last 5 years, he has won 2 league titles. Pep has won more, did more in CL. Simeone won league title with Atletico and was seconds away from winning CL. Blanc did well enough in CL with the new PSG team (Not that he is better), Klopp's achievements in Bundesliga and CL finals are higher than what Jose could do with the most expensive squad in the world with Madrid.
Before this season meltdown I said Jose is not in top 3 and I will stick with that. There are managers doing better in Europe and there is lot of football outside PL.
Keep on telling yerself that too.

This is kind of a needless debate as I don't understand why you would compare managers like Simeone/Klopp with their success at one club to a manager who has done it at multiple clubs. For me he's easily in top 3, success is what it's about and he has a lot of it. No one knows how Pep's style would work in Premier League, for me he is as much of a gamble as anyone in this situation.
Lets be honest here, the decisions the club makes from here on out are crucial for what happens to us over this season and the coming seasons. I am happy that the board are not racing into a decision, but right now, we could do a lot worse than LVG and it would foolish to throw everything he has laid down without seriously having a better option. Right now there isn't so we will have to make do with him until at least end of season in my opinion. If there is any solution right now the only answer is Mourinho, there is no one else.
It's not that Jose is bad manager. He's ****** fantastic one. Problem is what he does when first rough patch comes. That **** starts to break. And then he breaks. We saw that how many times, 2-3?
The talking going on here has just been silly.
Jose is one of the best managers in the world. Hands down. If you think otherwise you have some serious lapse of history and/or knowledge of the world of football.
If Pep isn't available to us because he's chosen Man City, then who else would be world class enough to attempt to face him that's available now? And fyi, Jose won multiple trophies while vs Pep. So the idea that Jose doesn't stand a chance is simple silly
No one here said Jose isn't one of the best managers in the world. Not me, Alcaraz, Zzezzy, Vanjagl and we are the only ppl to post in last few pages.
Jose is not among the top 3 managers in the world and it's the case from last few seasons.
And I agree regarding Klopp. He must be feeling like a right tool now. If he waited till the summer, he would have his pick of jobs at big clubs with more resources once Pep chose his. Now he is stuck with a massive rebuilding job at Liverpool with a fraction of the resources that City, United and Chelsea have
And what in the World makes you think he wouldn't of waited for this perceived better job if he'd wanted one? Everyone knew the probability of a slew of major clubs changing managers next summer.
Why would he not wait for one of those if that was what he wanted?
You're slighting his intelligence, however unintentionally, in saying that whilst you try slight the job and club he's more than happy to be at.
Jose is a brilliant manager, and a massive shithouse.
Pep is a brilliant manager and not a massive shithouse.
Choice is easy.

If you don't get Pep, who is your next choice?

Yes because he could have predicted Mourinho getting sacked at Chelsea and LVG on the verge of the sack at United. He could have predicted Guardiola deciding to leave Munich. A lot has changed in past 6 months
And face it Scouse, Chelsea, City and United jobs are all far more attractive than Liverpool job. Those three clubs have more resources, better squads, better youth systems and are firmly in the ascent whereas Liverpool are in a state of flux.
