Yes because he could have predicted Mourinho getting sacked at Chelsea and LVG on the verge of the sack at United. He could have predicted Guardiola deciding to leave Munich. A lot has changed in past 6 months
And face it Scouse, Chelsea, City and United jobs are all far more attractive than Liverpool job. Those three clubs have more resources, better squads, better youth systems and are firmly in the ascent whereas Liverpool are in a state of flux.
There was every chance any of Chelsea, Ciry, United, Madrid, Munich and possibly even Arsenal if Wenger won it and called it quits would be up when he took the job in October and you know that full well.
And I love this assertion that every club has so much better prospects. Financially, you've the TV deal kicking in next year. More pertinently, you've another 7 thousand seats and more importantly far greater corporate facilities at Anfield kicking in. With another 6k to be added the following few years. And you've a manager that most players, particularly in Germany, openly say they'd love to play for. This perceived misnomer financially is closing far more than you flippantly keep asserting.
As for the youth side and squad strength, that's completely open to interpretation.
He came because it fits perfectly for him. The traditions and standing of the club, along with the fan bond he relishes and is trying to build back up along with building the team, just fits perfectly for him that he wouldn't get at most anywhere else in England or else he wouldn't be here and he'd of waited.
Yoy can bang on as much as you like about (so called) 'bigger' jobs.
But Liverpool and Liverpool Football Club fits perfectly for him whether anyone likes that or not and he's doubtless sick to the back teeth of saying that and explaining why with the prospects going forward.
We we have our long term manager. Good luck finding yours.
