Schniederlin was the best CDM last season in the Prem and arguably the season before that a long side Matic. Plus we have Blind who is natural DM and is his preferred position. I'm not saying we won't sign one but it's not a priority. Don't be surprised if Carrick signs an extension either.

Pjanic's passing would really help us and help link up attacks, I like Herrera don't get me wrong but his passing range is limited and lets his overall game down. Pity really because if he had better passing range he would nearly be a perfect all round midfielder.

Wouldnt blind be perfect for that? He's proven this season he can play defensively so he'll have much more of an idea of the defensive responsibility. Plus this season when he's got forward on the ball around the half way line, some of his passes over the top have been top class. This season playing CB will do him the world of good if we decide to move him to replace Carrick

Without question, Schneiderlin was among best DM in last couple of seasons. By wonder off, I mean he will go forward and leave the gap behind.

Problem with Blind is - he's not mobile enough. Carrick was never mobile as well, but I would argue he is much more mobile than Blind. Blind would work in 3 man midfield with Herrera and some other dynamic player. But in 2 man midfield, I have my doubts.

People said that about Blind playing CB but he is top draw at reading the game and positioning.

I'm still going to say he's not strong enough for being a CD. He has his qualities, like you said - positioning and reading the game among others, but lets not pretend his overall defensive contribution was amazing. Not to mention being a CD can hide his immobility a bit, because there's less space behind him to exploit. Moving him up would exploit him more. He could adopt, make me wrong etc. but I would rather not risk. We cannot afford to risk.

Shall see I guess don't think a DM will be a priority though. Need a top quality player who can create and control a game imo first.

Well there's a surprise. Believe I said earlier this could well be naughty.

Real history between Utd and West Ham. Last game at Upton Park. Last chance for the old boys to be out. Utd will be down there in large numbers. Midweek.
