No offense :( Having watched most of PSG games last 2 seasons nearly all of France's games since I can remember and all PSG CL games. He really has everything apart from being a world class operating Playmaker. He really is a top class leader in CM his work rate both in defence and transition into attack is unbelievable. His passing is very good and tactically he is perfect possitionally. Honestly he would be our best CM and one of the best in the league.

People are underplaying Kante last season and convenitently overplaying Matuidi. I get it that United fans are excited when we get linked to a player but we can still be realistic and not over-hype them too much.

No but as I am his players agent I have a need to convince you that he is THE man for United. (H)

I can't even remember the last time I seen a player like Kante in PL with such an (average putting it kindly) midfield and literally directing them to the title by dominating in so many games.

I think Kante's special, he has come from a small club, he had his season in the big time and boy was it big. Now people notice including France.

Special? You didn't know who he was before last year!He didn't dominate, he destroyed. You really need to understand the difference. Leicester played a counter attacking game and he covered massive ground to break up play and pass to drinkwater. Who then distributed the ball. Matuidi dominates, he plays on the offensive to control game. Have you watched France and the pair of them play. Completely different styles. Kante is a mobile destroyer. Matuidi is a box to box mid.
 
What I dont understand is since the season ended, all the conversations about potential signings, realistic or not, nobody has ever mentioned Matuidi, but now he's the best thing since sliced bread and would walk into our team and be the best midfielder we have. How? Nobody has mentioned him, EVER. If he's that good surely he would have been mentioned at least once but now this rumour has come from nowhere he's the best midfielder in the world.

His name has never probably been mentioned because no one thought he'd (potentially) be available. Why on earth PSG would sell him I don't know, but he'd easily walk into your midfield.

Actually this is the impression I always get from watching him. Also he tends to disappear once in a while in matches. Kante seems more consistent is younger and would make more sense imho.

On point now I dont think one can really compare Kante and Matuidi as they are slightly different.

Id take Kante for a number of reasons including his age tho. And I do watch and read about Ligue 1 consistenty for some years now.

Tbh he's right. And true in most cases. And Zzeezzy did say he's only watched him on and off. It's obvious we are going to talk about him if we are linked. He would be a better signing than Kante.

I do agree with Mike most times. But the fact that he watches people consistently as a job doesnt mean he understands them better than somebody watching them a lot but not as a job. I wasnt comparing it with Zzeezzy.

That's why I said realistic or not. There's been plenty of players mentioned by people, that are unrealistic. "I would love x player". Never once has matuidi been mentioned.

Can't speak for anyone else but I haven't mentioned anyone who I wouldn't think was on the market. I spoke about him loads on the Chelsea thread before. But I couldn't imagine him being for sale. Same reason I only mention naiggolan for Chelsea. Never a target for us.
 
Also his arrival ends mata. Not something I considered. I mean I could go through every mid I rate but literally what's the point. Matuidi means 4-3-3, I I've been thinking 4-2-3-1
