Just noticed something quite interesting on the Pogba claim. Ok, Thursday's L'Equipe published an interview with Pogba, he'd spoken to Damien Degorre. Today's article is credited to 'H.De (avec D.D.)' Meaning DD helped out, who it has be assumed is Damien Degorre, suggesting this may be as well sourced as it gets in regarding that Pogba has indeed told friends and family that he is willing to return to Manchester United.

It seems like they are willing to sell only one of them.

If I was Juventus, I would let Bonucci go instead of Pogba. Bonucci is 29 so this is possibly the last time Juventus can cash in on him. If United are already willing to pay £120 million for Pogba when he is only 23, imagine what they could receive if they sell him after 2 years when his game will be more polished and mature.

Fair enough thats another perspective but in my opinion, both would be equally hard to replace. Perhaps marginally easier for Bonucci.

Bonucci currently irreplacable. You are talking about a world class ball playing defender in his prime to can play in a 4 man or 3 man defence with ease. How many defenders like him right now, maybe Boateng on his level? He's still got years in him too.

The lack of top top CBs makes Bonucci definitely irreplaceable imo. There is no one near him atm. Boat ring is good but a level below. The quality in CBs atm is shocking.
 
For those who don't watch as much Juve, Bonucci is like Rio Ferdinand in his prime, but more aggressive. How many players could replace Rio then? Even less now, and none on market really.

Yep, real lack of those kinds of defenders. Hummels and Thiago Silva are others but Hummels just moved to Bayern (how good will that defense be next to Boateng!?) and Silva will probably see out his last few best years at PSG

All I'd say to that is they have the excellent potential of Rugani coming through who they're very high on and have nurtured well to this point. He looks a shoe-in future mainstay of the Azzurri defence.

They will have to seriously start phasing out Barzagli mind who'll be 36 this coming season, but let's say for arguments sake City went and threw something approaching £50 million there way. Be an interesting choice to make with Chellini and Rugani there.

Do they stick with the young talisman Pogba and just look for another quality CB? I don't think it would be as cut and dried if City reached their tipping point on Bonucci.

They've got Benatia to replace Barzagli. But with injury issue, you need 5 CBs to cover the 3 spots. They would still then have to replace him. And losing him and Barzagli at the same time would be a blow.
 
Juventus are going to lose Pogba sooner or later. Bonucci is in no rush to leave,
