Where he'll play tho? He is not nearly good enough to be a 10. Lacks first touch, technique, and his passing under pressure is awful.
He can play 10 or STR. That's what Mourinho said in his press conference that's where he will play.

Yes, Mourinho will play him close to the goal, but that doesn't mean that Rooney has quality to be a 10. I hope he proves me wrong, but i think he'll be a liability as a 10 right now.

You guys have forgotten about another spaniard who can play 10: Ander Herrera.

Mata was likely to end up squad because you have 3 people at 10, and we can easily move to 4-3-3, which would mean subbing him. I expect him to stay and fight for his place.

Couldnt give a fig either way about Rooney. If he causes trouble, sell him. China will pay a fortune for him.

Agree. Think the Chinese window had closed now though.

Too bad their deadline has passed, we clearly have intention to keep him for another season again, sadly.

Regarding Herrera, he needs to step up this season wherever his chance leads him, or else I can see him going next summer.

The only way Rooney starts the season is at 10. And there is no guarantee of that.

Well...at least juventus just spoke out and stated that the whole link with pogba is bollocks . Thank goodness for that.

He might count as he owns a small club in Uruguay, Deportivo Maldonado, that buys talented players such as Rulli and Calleri before loaning them out a couple times and selling them for major money. Likely earning him a fortune from it.

The team is in Uruguay as they have good taxes for selling players apparently. So tax dodging is his super power
Pretty much all the players at Monaco are his too, practically runs their transfers at times.

People might scoff, be he's the definition of one

Looks like Matty Willock could be involved today. Bailly and Mkhitaryan listed as well.

Really looking forward to TFM, Wilson, Shaw, Memphis and the new lads of course from the starting 11. Then more youngsters in the second half.
