The Manchester United Thread

To be honest a deal like this would never be possible to be kept under wraps.

When you think of the biggest transfers in recent times such as Suarez, Neymar, Ronaldo and Bale. Everyone knew about it long before it happened.

Whilst I agree this has got very boring and has taken seemingly an age to happen. It doesn't seem as boring as Bale to Madrid that lasted until nearly the end of the window to complete.

I know that. Does not mean it was not boring though.

Great, hope he can step up a few more gears and march us on to the title this season.

I know it's early days, but Bailly looks an absolute beast. Still a bit raw, can be a little bit rash, but has showcased all the ingredients to be a top top defender.

Take a bow son!!! Absolutely delighted for him! One of the names people wondered about when these signings came in, atta boy!!

So far Bailly's bee awesome. Would much rather see Henrikh or Mata in that number 10 role than Rooney...

I don't like the Fellaini and Carrick pairing tho. Too slow and predictable. And as i said here before, i don't think Mourinho rates Schneiderlin.

There's a reason Mou will keep Fellaini exactly for these types of oppo. Good in set pieces and the air and big and physical players.

I don't have a problem with Mourinho keeping Fellaini. But either he or Carrick should be paired with a more mobile player, like Herrera or Schneiderlin. I don't think we would dominate many teams with a Carrick, Fellaini and Rooney midfield.

And that mobile player is on his way, relax;)

Tbh I thinks it's just Mou has picked the best side to deal with Liecester. Fellaini dealing with the height and physicality of Leicester and Carrick doing a good job controlling game and negating Drinkwater who has been quite. Don't expect this to be the team to start week in week out. Mous picked a team to match the oppo imo.

I really hope you're right.

I can see Carrick being saved for the really big important games. He is the only one who can control a game against most opposition. Then it will be with Pogba obviously. Then the rest will rotate. Will be interesting when and if Jose uses/changes to a 433. A three of Carrick, Schniederlin and Pogba is **** worthy!

It's been a while since we have had a squad this good look at the bench- Herrera, Mata, Mky, Rashford, Schneiderlin and the rest not even on the bench.

Yes, this trio can do it all really. It will be tasty even if you throw Mata and Herrera into the mix as well. Great technical quality. I just wonder for how long Rooney will keep'em from playing.
