Wait a minute mate did you just quote yourself?! Respect. If Arsenal had spent 30m on Higuain from Madrid, they probably would have won the last season

Do you really not understand you re wrong here mate? I understand that sometimes you do what i sometimes do (write stuff which are at the extreme of whatever it is you believe just to cause a reaction/an argument) but it should be obvious to you by now you dont have a leg to stand here.Bunkum. You flip flop on standards to suit.

I think we are still on the right side of banter ...The bad blood between the Manchester United thread and Scouse is getting a bit old now?
We are all adults (I think?).
Can't we just have a 'safe word'? XD
this what i dont get why would real be put off buying him cos of the fee its not like thay have not done it in the past with figo zz ronaldo not the fat 1 bale or is it all down to ffp?https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...er-united-paul-pogba-real-madrid-world-record
I am not quite sure I understand this article. By all reports, Madrid had made it clear early that they were not going to bid if Juventus were demanding a world record fee. So its weird to claim that United beat Madrid out for the player when Madrid were not even in the running in the first place.
While this article does make some good points particularly in how Woodward has established United at the forefront of the transfer market and got business done quickly this summer, it almost seems like a brieifing put out by United to the journalist.

The idea that Madrid didn't want to spend was in Marca. Also known as the Madrid mouthpiece
Yeah, we just dropped interest. He's going to middlesboroughMorning guys, any news on the Pogba deal?
Did they though? Because absolutely no one was reporting that they were even in the battle. You would be hard-pressed to find a mention of Madrid battling for Pogba's signature in any of the million tweets TOD posted here.
Something I said a few weeks ago, its very easy to criticize when you will never have the opportunity to do such a deal ever.
You will have to look back to Feb/March.
