Quite the second half for United, Zlatan on another level as always, Pogba impressive, Valencia looking a great RB, Shaw looking good and impressed withMartial even if he cant put the chances away he is still running them ragged
 
Some of the movement when they attack is incredible.
Maybe it's a case of 'Hunger is great sauce', but this is good f***ing football.

The bus parking thing is the biggest myth in world football.

Look at his Porto side, look at his real Madrid side, how they attacked...even his Chelsea side at the first half of 2 seasons ago.

Jose obviously plays FPL bringing Smalling on to keep that clean sheet intact, wonder if he captained Zlatan ;)
 
By no means a perfect 10/10 performance, but a HUGE improvement on what we're use to seeing in recent years. The attacking football we showed at times, particularly for a spell in the second half after we got that second goal, was absolutely mouth-watering.

Also, barring their rightly so disallowed goal, I don't recall De Gea having to make a save?!?! How long has it been since we've been able to say that?
 
My ratings:

De Gea - 6/10. Not that he played bad, he just didn't have to do anything other than remain focus and distribute the ball.
Valencia - 8/10. Solid in defence, devastating going forward, he and Shaw having the Coleman/Baines effect on the league a few years back.
Bailly - 7/10. Similar to De Gea, hadn't a lot to do, but when needing to, did it well.
Blind - 7/10. See Bailly's description, pretty much the same.
Luke Shaw - 9.5/10. Alongside Pogba & Ibra, my joint three-way man of the match. Superb going forward, solid defensively when Cederic tried to get at him, great to have him back, a new lease of life down that left hand side, won us the penalty to seal the points. ​JMOM
Fellaini - 8/10. Similar display tonight as he performed at Bournemouth, tackled well, covered the back 4 well, and distributed the ball well.
Pogba - 9.5/10. My joint man of the match. Uses his body so well for a young lad, bullies players, his ability to slip challenges and burst defence into attack is beyond exciting, bossed the game in my opinion. Forget the fee, what a player. And to think he hasn't played a second of football since the Euro's :o JMOM
Mata - 6.5/1. Love him, but not sure what he offered to this game in which Mkhitaryan couldn't have, I feel Targett was there for the taking as Valencia displayed at times, thought we should've took advantage of that more.
Rooney 7/10. Solid performance from the captain, brilliant assist in the first half, good day at the office.
Martial 8/10. Missed his chance, but ran them ragged. Was part of some beautiful interplay, and looks to be gaining confidence back.
Ibrahimovic 9.5/10. An absolute bullet of a header, what a beast. Hold up play was excellent, brought players into the game, and tucked his penalty away as cool as a cucumber. JMOM
