The Manchester United Thread

I hope Mike doesn't delete my comment. I mean, I just had to laugh...not just like.

Fellaini seems to of gained a lot more tactical/positional discipline, been impressed with him under Mourinho. Nice partnership with Herrera and now Pogba. Be interesting to see how a our midfield partnership develops and whether Fellaini will play majority of the time with Pogba.

Yeah not a fan, but can't fault his performances so far.

Sounds like Tyler Blackett off to join Staam in the Championship. Player and rep was there today to finalise a move early this week.

How good is this Ibrahimovic eh? Feel like he should have made the move to the premier league much sooner!

He moves me to tears, cos to me he's the second coming of King Eric. His attitude, aura, magnetism and inspiration to the whole squad are the same.

Hopefully can go and have a good season, come back next season and try and challenge Shaw that LB position.

Wouldn't swap Luke Shaw for any left back in world football taking everything into consideration (age, homegrown, absolute beast, etc.) and I'm 101% deadly serious. Hoping he stays injury free.

But yeah, CBJ a very capable little backup. Just needs to stop running like a newborn duck.

To be fair he is looking like a **** of a player, just feel bad for CBJ, He could have been our first choice if it wasn’t for Shaw who will hopefully be around for the next 10+ years. I can’t see him being happy playing 2nd choice pretty much all his career at OT. It wouldn’t surprise if we keep loaning him out to gain experience and then sell him when he’s a fully established player for a decent fee.

Sooner sell Rojo and keep CBJ for Shaw back up for EL and Cups. But Wolves will be a good loan for him and will get lots of games I reckon. Will be watching Wolves, Derby and Sunderland this season. Think Januzaj has looked pretty good first 2 games. Good thing is Moyes will play him nearly every week.

Missed your U-18's review the weekend mate, smiles.
Didn't do one as I did not get round to watching the re run o MUTV. From what I read was pretty even game. But pool had better 1st half and Utd had better 2nd half especially when new signing Buckart came on and used his pace and dribbling to stretch the pool CBs. We were missing a load of players through injury and promoted to the u23s. We look a lot stronger than last season, and have a few more signings coming in. Congrats on deserved win.

I like you're seemingly taking our approach to the new U-23 league. Which really hasn't done much of anything to increase competitive youth football to any great degree. Not using the chance to play older/ squad players. We've trimmed and are looking at an average age of around 18 in the U-23's this year.
