The Manchester United Thread

Rugby tackle, right arm across waist/legs and that is not a penalty, he isn't even competing for the ball!

Great play from Pogba and Mata. Clear peno the Arsenal players reaction says it all. Monreal was bricking it. Great from Martial.

No we shouldn't because the first booking was absolute BS. Darmian didn't even touch him for first foul and yet it was a yellow card?

Still he had a yellow, and the 2nd one should have been granted. I am glad the referee didn't give it, since it would have turned into a one way street game.

Don't want to speak too soon but I am surprised how easily Jones/Rojo have managed this attack.

Nah, he was never getting sent off. When a player is on a yellow (shouldn't of been), he tends to always get a "free one" and a little talking to, that's not even a talking point of the match.

Anyway, good half from United - much the better side, same again for the second half and this lot are here for the taking.

United playing well, comfortably the better side and we should have had a nailed on pen

We are so going to lose

I wouldn't say Cech is having a 'blinder' by any means; one good save, the Martial efforts were relatively comfortable to deal with. That said, he's a superb keeper, and will take a bit of beating.

Finally, Giggs. I thought they were all going to echo Neville's opinion for a moment. A foul is a foul, no matter how soft.

It's the type of foul that makes it stonewall to me, no attempt for the ball, just arms across waist/legs to make sure player goes over.

Should've been a foul and penalty, in my opinion anyway.
