For the lads who may not support United or just don't watch them of late for whatever reason, this is pretty much what we've been doing lately without having the goals to prove it, especially at home, which is why it's been a tad frustrating borderline laughable.
 
Great performance tonight. Some slick one two passing, movement off the balls, runs in behind. Mkytarian my MOTM Rooney close second. Happy for Shaw to get some mins and grew into the game, and added to our attacking play. Carrick must start to free up Pogba to do his stuff. Bring on the weekend.

Lots of people played well, special mention to Miki, Pogba, Rooney and Mata.

But above them all was Carrick. I remember discussion with Tyton the debate between Bastian and Carrick and why Jose would always pick Carrick (I would take both and bin Fellaini but thats another point). His ability to pin United's midfield is incredible, our winning record with him in the side has been ridiculous the last 3-4 years, and it's not coincidence we don't look fluid when he doesnt player.

United are unbeaten this season with him in the side, in fact have won all but one game, and have scored 22 goals in the process. Deserves his extension, and we need that time to replace him.

Needs to be our number 1 priority in the summer imo to replace Carrick.
 
Great performance but can't help but think we may regret this if we don't deliver the goods on Sunday. Even though we're playing catch up in the league, that game vs West Ham and the Premier generally is still the priority.

You don't deserve to be a fan of a club in Europe mate. You really don't.
 
How are people reacting so bitterly to that comment? It's obvious that everytime we've played well in Europe in the next game we usually look off the pace and don't get the result. That's all I'm saying, people need to chill.

Plus, the players like Carrick who are so instrumental at the moment most likely won't be able to play on Sunday now. Going by Jose's theory if he sticks to it that is.

I'm happy with today, especially Mkhitaryan.
