Man United extend Marouane Fellaini's contract by 12 months http://www.espnfc.com/manchester-united/story/3036628/man-united-extend-marouane-fellainis-contract-by-12-months-sources …

Just seen on SSN that our game against Pool will be the first time spider cam will be used during a match in the Prem. should be interesting. Also read that Mou won't sign in Jan and will have a kitty of 200m before sales to complete his squad.

I'll trust the manager regarding Fellaini.
He's the expert, not me.

I don't recall ever saying He shouldn't be selected.
I registered my distaste at how frequently the lad gave possession away too cheaply and didn't do the basics right.

He has turned my opinion around though. I enjoy watching him play now.
Which, as a fan, is the whole idea :)

You slammend him repeatedly as being unfit for Utd and caring more about his hair/ social media postings et al then working on his football.

How else are we expected to read that other than you disagreed with him being selected?

That's not really my concern?

Back to Fellaini.
Judging by what the manager says to the press, Jose really seems to like the guy.
That's how it seems anyway? I could be wrong.

That's a blow. Unlucky.

It's a smart move his deal expired in the summer so it just means that no one can get him for free so we either keep a player who the manager likes for an extra year or it's so that he can be sold for a decent fee in the summer

As many of you in this thread have said in far more forceful terms than this on a way too regular basis to forget he shouldn't be at a club like Utd period. I'm happy he is like but I would be in full agreement with that were I a Utd fan. He's a thug in boots and a very limited footballer.

Wouldn't want any part of him sticking around any longer than he had to personally but each to their own.

Bit more cash for the coming Summer :)

UNITED AND UBER PARTNER TOGETHER

• First partnership of its kind for the club
• Global campaigns creating exclusive experiences for Uber riders and drivers around the world
• Dedicated Uber zone to be created at Old Trafford

(NYSE:MANU) Manchester United and Uber are today announcing a global partnership, the first of its kind for the football club, which will enhance fans’ matchday experience at Old Trafford and how they connect with the club on a global scale.

As part of the partnership, a dedicated Uber pick-up and drop off zone will be set up at Old Trafford, creating a convenient and safe way for all fans to travel to and from games, with just a few taps of their smartphone. Over the next several months, Uber will also connect fans in over 30 countries around the world to United through a number of experiences, including behind-the scenes content, bringing fans together on matchdays wherever they are watching, and sending riders and drivers to the club’s famous Theatre of Dreams.

United’s group managing director, Richard Arnold commented: “Manchester United is always looking at ways in which we can improve our fans’ experience and our relationship with Uber will allow us to do this in new and exciting ways.

“Supporters will tell you that the journey to and from a game, whether they are watching it at Old Trafford or another venue on the other side of the world, is an important part of the matchday experience, contributing to the build-up and anticipation of the day. Working with Uber we will look to enhance this experience for our 659 million followers, both home and abroad, by bringing them the spirit of Old Trafford and Manchester United through various experiences and interactive campaigns.”

Amy Friedlander Hoffman, head of business development - experiential marketing at Uber commented: “Uber makes it easier for people around the world to connect to what they care about and now we’re excited to give that connection to Manchester United fans.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Manchester United to not only make match day transportation more seamless, but to deliver fans incredible experiences throughout the season, no matter where they are supporting from."

This is a good time to face Liverpool in my opinion, but lets not be complacent and go at them full force. Personally I fancy our chances to get the 3 points. Without Mane in their attack is does look quite limited, dare I say, could eat my words but we should not fear them,

Will be tough for sure. But with no Mane and Coutinho, Hendo, Matip all coming back from injuries. It can only be a good thing.
