Good news about Rojo. Suspect we will get a nothing fine for the player control thing. Lukaku stuff is interesting!

How? It's an intentional stamp on the head. Can't get any worse,

How do you determine it's intentional?

When I initially saw it the pub before the Arsenal game, I thought exactly the same and was calling him worse than ***** and backing Zlatan for just elbowing him and not sparking him out. But then you see it again and the doubt comes in the more you watch it.

This is a great freeze frame. (Which also makes Rooney the complete lying so and so after what he tried to pull directly after the game. You where looking right at it right Wayne? Through those eyes in the back of your head like?).

Now you probably don't agree, but I just don't see how the FA can determine the intent to extend the ban by a further 2 games.

Don't be naive. If there was any evidence that this was intentional, it wouldn't be 5 games suspension, it would be 5 months suspension. That, and they would probably have to pass it down to the police, because forget about football, intentional stamping on the head is a criminal offense and quite serious one at that.

This is just your classic FA, throwing down punishments to protect their own behind from public outrage. Player's and club's interest be damned.

I've seen video footage of it hundreds of times he knows full well what he's doing leaves the leg there as he drops.

The club is getting fined for 'failing to control players' during the Chelsea game. XD

It's done on balance of probability. They would have looked at him staring twice and decided that he most likely knew what he was doing. And they are not going to call the police unless someone wants to press charges. Which pretty much never happens. Rugby players outright punch each other. No police. This idea of police being called in sport is largely overblown

Jose: "My players did what everybody saw on Monday. Tuesday 11:30 they were here training as great pros. That is the only thing I can say"

#MUFC boss Jose Mourinho on his players returning home from London at 4am on Tuesday morning.
