What do you guys think about the Extended contract to Carrick?
Personally I'm glad if it happens, means Fellaini could be the one leaving instead!
Not that I would be sad if Fellaini goes, but would be happy to have him in the squad. But happy for Carrick staying. Winning mentality, still class if used rightly and not relyed on so much. Good in the dressing room. Also sounds like he's gonna have a major part in the coaching staff at u23 level. Will be great for the quality u18s stepping up next season.

On Fellaini did think it was strange we only offered him a years extension instead of a longer one.

i hope carrick stays, think he could be more useful than fellaini.on de gea,we could prob squeeze 60 mil for him but we dont need the money so would make sense to try and get bale or varane as part of the deal

Can see Mourinho possibly using tonight as a rehearsal for the Final tonight squad and system wise. Can see Tuanzebe filling in for Tony V though who hasn't travelled.

so its official, united are definitely looking to bring michael keane back.im very pleased with that and cant see him turning down a return to OT

i think this one will be wrapped up fairly quickly
Yep will be very happy. Should never of been sold. And at about 19m good price to. Plus homegrown and local lad. And better as a squad option than Smalling or Jones. And Jose knows his CBs and how to develop them.

Really not sure about this signing, part of me thinks it's decent as he's a solid defender and doesn't seem injury prone.

Another part of me thinks is he really the best we can get?

IMO defence hasn't been our problem this year and with Rojo and Bailly both fit we've looked really really good so this isn't really a "vital" signing, I think he'll be competing with Rojo and Bailly as first choice and if not he's a great and fit backup who's homegrown and english! I hope Smalling stays tho, cause he was so good during LVG when fit.. But P.Jones, time to say good bye!

Yeh true, I'd defo ditch Jones between the two.

Yeah especially with Rojo being out till maybe Christmas. Keane will get a chance to stake a claim for starter. And if not then Rojo will come back in. Will be good options with Bailly who will be even better next season, Rojo, Keane, Tuanzebe then one of Smalling or Jones depending on Mous preference. Also won't really impact our budget for more key areas in the Summer. I'm sold :)

Does Liverpool get UCL action if you win the EL?

Nevermind, I checked. 5 teams it is! Yeah, i'm always rooting for English teams when it can't hurt Chelsea in any way :))

Just seen some interesting stats on squaker that Keane has won more Ariel duals than any other CB in the top 5 leagues and is in the top 5 for tackles and interceptions.
