Yep will be very happy. Should never of been sold. And at about 19m good price to. Plus homegrown and local lad. And better as a squad option than Smalling or Jones. And Jose knows his CBs and how to develop them.

Really not sure about this signing, part of me thinks it's decent as he's a solid defender and doesn't seem injury prone.

IMO defence hasn't been our problem this year and with Rojo and Bailly both fit we've looked really really good so this isn't really a "vital" signing, I think he'll be competing with Rojo and Bailly as first choice and if not he's a great and fit backup who's homegrown and english! I hope Smalling stays tho, cause he was so good during LVG when fit.. But P.Jones, time to say good bye!

Yeh true, I'd defo ditch Jones between the two.

Yeah especially with Rojo being out till maybe Christmas. Keane will get a chance to stake a claim for starter. And if not then Rojo will come back in. Will be good options with Bailly who will be even better next season, Rojo, Keane, Tuanzebe then one of Smalling or Jones depending on Mous preference. Also won't really impact our budget for more key areas in the Summer. I'm sold

Just seen some interesting stats on squaker that Keane has won more Ariel duals than any other CB in the top 5 leagues and is in the top 5 for tackles and interceptions.
