The Manchester United Thread

Not got the players to effectively play 3. (Aside from not doing it all year.). Nobody wants to bring it out. Easy for Tottenham. Need to go to a 4. Add someone else further forward. And dispense with the anonymous Metal Micley.

But then its 0-0 so he'll be happy with that.

I don't think Jose would've played 3 at the back if we had Pogba or Fellaini. We could switch to a 4 but we have no CM. Maybe McTominay, but it's a big ask for the kid. He won't go 4 up front, so as we don't have an experienced CM, I don't think we'll be changing shape.

Lingard for Mkhi perhaps as a direct replacement. Plenty of space behind that highline, Lingard's a tricky customer to track

I don't think you'll be changing shape at all.

Not at 0-0. That suits him perfectly and he'll hope for one chance to nick it.

But you should as this is going nowhere fast.

Thoroughly deserved win, really good performance.

Lukaku top centre forward play... fed off scraps for spells, but kept his head - could've scored if it weren't for the post, and flicked it on superbly for 'Tony. Backline solid, full back's a threat throughout, Matic & Herrera the definition of stability today, and everyone worked their socks off.

All pressure rolled onto City now. Expect them to beat West Brom, but the longer it takes to break down Pulis' deep block, the edgier it gets. If they score early, it's a route.

Good summary! Now let’s get Fellaini, Pogba, Rojo back midweek ready for Chelsea :)

No doubt a good win, but don't think Mourinho should be doing them kind of things personally at the final whistle.

Yes he and the team have been criticized in recent weeks, but it was deserved because against Huddersfield and Liverpool we were very poor.

Everyone praising Phil Jones today, but I thought Smalling was an absolute rock at the back and MOTM imo!
