0-0 at HT in a right **** fest. With Redmond, Hamilton, Scott stinking up the place. Honestly the most boring half of football I’ve seen in my life. Riley the only good player so far.

Lost 3-0 against a WHU team that hadn’t scored in 7 hrs nearly. Ercolani got a red for a dumb *** challenge. Then 3-0 down with about 15 mins to go and 10 men on the field. Gomes, Boonen come on and we look a million miles better once Redmond and Scott left the field despite being down a man. Gomes showed his quality though with some great touches, passes and nearly scored from a free kick.

Just play the best ****** players ffs!

That didn’t take long. Fantastic news! What a fantastic player. Only played a handful of games since joining from PSG and he’s getting rave reviews from coaches at all levels. Very Vieira like!

Would take him in a flash! Has good output last couple of seasons and Mourinho has liked him for a while.

To be fair those stats are massively inflated in a poor French league and the quality he had around him, but he'd certainly be a quality addition if we got him. For the price quoted its a no brainer. We need someone on the right to offer something. Even with an average season we could double his price in this market. Get it done Ed!
 
Hearing there's a possibility of a loan this season with a buy option in the summer, that'd be virtually a no-lose situation.
 
Meanwhile, over the other side of gay Paris, La Parisien has neither he or PSG interested in a loan as they want to 'cash in' before February. And thinking very hard on Liverpool. Even though there's been nottin' from Liverpool.

I'm no Sherlock Holmes like but I'm gonna' venture 'Transfer windows. Nobody knows **** and just speculates as much as the fella' down the ale house who's 'ITK'.'

I frigging hate transfer windows and all the speculating B/S that goes along with it.
 
You only hate it if you believe them & get your hopes up over it. 1 of every 10 rumours come through probably, it's just a bit of fun to roam through them in the case of the one you want, being that 1 out of 10.

It's like watching youth footy, there's a strong chance you'll not hear of 7/8/9/10 of every 11 again, but just on the chance of seeing that 1/2 come through, it's worth it. Could say the same about having a flick through transfer talk. Utter bullshit most of it, but it does add a bit of excitement.

I hate it because it never used to be this way before windows. You barely had speculation on signings. Certainly not ones that dragged on for weeks on end. Invariably the first you knew of a signing Nationally was when he was paraded. Or locally leading up to it when it was going through.

Much less **** when you could sign all season long up until the Easter deadline.

The German officers there reminded of the first European away this season the qualifier. Gorgeous train ride down the Rhine from Dusseldorf to Manheim. Then Heidelberg. Anyway, the German guard, upon realising we were English, regaled us with 'I need to zee your Papers!' ..... Which he then checks the tickets, marks them, and hands them back saying 'Good. They are in order. I require nothing further. On your way' as he walks off laughing with us.

Who say's the Germans don't have a dead boss sense of humour? XD
 
15yr old New CM signing Will Vint been called up to the American u18s squad. Other new u15s signings called up to u18s Pierpaolo D'Errico and Martin Murcko have been called up to u18 level also. The later is an AMC who can play on either wing. The former is a STR who was banging in hatrickd for fun on trial and has continued a good record since. Mourinho watched him on trial a few times and was impressed with ****. The STR is Italian and the AMC Slovakian.

Manchester United to charge Sevilla fans EXTRA £35 for Champions League clash... and use money to help their fans afford trip to Spain after La Liga club hike prices up to £89

  • United responded by matching the hike and using extra £35 to refund their fans
  • That will see United supporters pay the £54 rival Liverpool fans were charged


Manchester United have struck back in their ticket war with Sevilla. The Spanish club sparked fury when they announced that they would be charging travelling supporters £89 to see the Champions League clash next month.


Now, Sportsmail understands United have responded by deciding to charge Sevilla fans the exact same amount for the return clash at Old Trafford.
And they will use proceeds from those ticket sales to refund £35 to their own supporters who have bought tickets for the first leg at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on 21 February. Any additional revenue generated will go the Manchester United Foundation, the club’s charity arm.
Sevilla were accused of setting ‘exorbitant’ prices last month when it emerged they would be charging United fans a staggering £89 – with a small number of tickets at £133 for the last-16 fixture.
It came after Liverpool supporters were charged £54 to see their side at the same venue in November. Officials at the La Liga side said they had reduced prices for the visit of the Merseyside club – a claim which appeared to have little evidence to back it up.


By refunding £35, United will bring the cost down to £54, meaning their fans have paid the same amount as Liverpool’s supporters. The move comes after talks between the two clubs aimed at bringing the cost for the first leg down appear to have failed.
United will email those successful in the ballot for tickets this afternoon, with details of the scheme. The return match takes place at Old Trafford on March 13.


A spokesman for the Manchester United Supporters Trust welcomed the move. He said: ‘We have been working with the Club since the ridiculous £89 price was known to ensure our fans didn’t end up paying this much.
'We are delighted United have fought our corner on this issue and are now working with the Club to engage with Uefa to look at the non member fees and the lack of concession tickets which have often been used to hike up prices for our away fans.’

Nicely played. Feel a bit sorry for the blameless Sevilla fans, but the club is to look out for their own.

(Half) Joking aside, hats off to the club. Great move. Seems Utd tried to reason with Sevilla but they were having none of it. Greedy bastards. Absolute disgrace UEFA legislation allows that and the big Spanish clubs are the worst around. £54 is still WAY too much like. Particularly as it's for the 'privilege' of getting twatted all over by the Seville **** RobCop bizzies.
