You want to play 4-3-1-2? Or you have Martial and Sanchez as wingers?
There is no width in this team like this, players will have no space in middle.

No 4312 with Martial and Lukaku as STR and Sanchez at 10. Width comes from better FBs. And we have no width now. Think it suits our players more as we have no wingers. Plus It wouldn’t be so crowded in the middle. Matic would be a bit deeper like Cambiasso. Then Lukaku and Martial could run the channels and Sanchez could eat more advanced. Eto always ran into the channels.

As fun as 4-3-1-2 looks on paper I don't think Mou will give up his 4-1-4-1 / 4-4-1-1 formation. Having wingers who help defend out wide is too important in football these days.

If we can get Sandro, Fred, Alderweireld all done pretty early that would be some great business for around £130/50m then still give us plenty of time after sales to get a 1 or 2 more in. Those 3 players alone would have a huge change in our play alone.

Yes we need some signings and positions addressed, as those above have mentioned. But for me we really need to start making the most out of what we have.

Looking at that FA Cup Final you would honestly say there has been next to no improvement from LVG. Especially when you look at the attack, or should I say lack of one. Thankfully we can look back on the PL season overall and say there has been, statistically anyway. Does that mean much when winning nothing? meh.

Sanchez needs to be much better next season, as does Martial (if he stays). We need to give chances next season to the likes of Pereira and TFM as squad options.

Selling Fellaini is a good start, if it happens, although we know it's not Mourinho's choice. I don't really care how it's done, we need someone better on the ball and a bonus if he has similar physical presence. Fred would be ideal.

Di Marzio saying Fred is a done deal 44m. Just personal terms to finalise. Good price that! :) Tweet and info in transfer thread.

Di Marzio says we are interested in Savic but will not pay the 100m asking price. And that Darmian is close to Juventus. Also Mourinho likes Mandzukic. And Pogba to Mourinho is 100% unsellable and is definitely not leaving.

I would absolutely love Mandzukic! Great competition for Lukaku and a much better plan B than Fellaini!

Until you get some full backs, it does not matter how much money you spend on other areas, you will not go anywhere.

Leichester getting Pereira so quickly done is amazing deal.

Fred would be great because he complements Matic and Pogba. He also has a vertical pass that break up lines and help move the ball forward, wich we lack in our midfield.

The guardian says Mourinho is also chasing after Savic and has interest in Seri, from Nice.

I think at least a FB and a CB are a must buy for us this summer. Alex Sandro and Alderweireld would boost the squad.

I also think that would be nice to sign a winger that does not cut inside like all of our wingers. Willian is the dream.

If we sign Willian at RW, all he does it cut in. Bit of unpredictability, but not much. Would rather Mahrez.

I desagree, mate. William likes to attack down the right and crosses way more than our wingers. For Brazil, he plays open wide while Dani Alves used to attack down the middle.

We can forget about Mahrez tbh. Would take Willian but an attacker isn’t priority for me. FBs and CMs are then a top CB to partner Bailly. Fred will give our CM so much balance and a lot more quality than Herrera. cant believe he attempted has the most dribble % and distance covered out of anyone in the CL this season( Whoscored )

Considering they had City and Napoli in their group as well.

Great start to window with Fred if it goes through. Wasn't expecting it so quickly, kind of thought City would be all over him.
