Fabinho pushes way too much into the enemy's field to play as a DM. Also, he doesn't play consistently as a RB for more than a couple of seasons now. He'd be a good sign for us, but i do believe Fred is better.

Park Ji Sung what a great little player. Underrated by some I feel. 200+ games over 7yrs. Loved sticking it to Wenger. Just watched a documentary about him on MUTV. Always scored important goals to.

That good huh? Honestly never really watched him play. Just what I'm reading on him today.

The main stumbling block I'd guess is both Jardin and Ryboloviev were consistently adamant he was the one player they wouldn't be selling at all costs last summer regardless of the British press pushing it. Which attests to just how important he was to that side.

Happy their resolve has been broken this window. Another long-term deal they've been working on all through last year by all accounts.

From what I've read about Monaco's dealings it seems that after there player has a big season and gets linked to a ton of team they ask them to stay for one more season, and I guess with the lack of taxes and location there are worse places to spend a year, and they seem to always sell them after that year if there is still the interest and since they stick to their word everytime before players probably trust them to do so with them.

Not the most gifted in terms of quality but man he made up for it and some with his work rate aka iron lungs. He was an absolute workhorse and a lot of modern footballers should take a leaf out of his book.

Scored some absolute peachers especially against the top teams and he was a lot quicker than I remembered!

Manchester United expected to sign Porto right-back Diogo Dalot after meeting the 20million euro release clause in his contract. Terms agreed. More on @TeleFootball

A lot reporting this now. Castles original tweeted about this about 3 hrs ago.

United have moved quickly to sign Dalot amid interest in him from a number of leading clubs throughout Europe including Juventus and Napoli in Italy and the Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.

From a Porto fan on Reddit-
He's fantastic. Been rated for a very long time and has always had very high expectations on him.

He has the right mentality, he's fast, very physical and attacking. For 20 million euros in the current market he would be an incredible signing but it's one for the future, not for the present.

Ahh, we kind of need something for now with RB, can't rely on Valencia for a whole season. Plus I think Valencia is a beast but his annoying flaws really let us down.

Wow :O

Diogo Dalot
Age 19
Nationality Portuguese
Club FC Porto
Position RB/LB

Goals 4
Assists 9

Here’s his crossing, attacking & tackling.

Prospect!

Let's hope he can handle the pressure of being a United player
From what I’ve been reading from Porto and other fans in that league. Sounds like he’s got great mentality and loves the big stage. Sporting fan said he was the key reason they lost to Porto.

Also so a few good sources saying Porto were trying to get him to sign a new deal to improve his release clause. But he wouldn’t increase it. Also he turned down Valencia offer.

Now that's what I like to hear!
