Eric Bailly of 2015/16 was the best CB we've had since the era of Vidic/Ferdinand
Are you ******?Eric Bailly of 2015/16 was the best CB we've had since the era of Vidic/Ferdinand
He might as well be. Thats how United CB's are bad.Are you ******?
Sad but true lol. Bailly was class that first season though. He might as well be. Thats how United CB's are bad.
And Watford is losing 2-0 against Newport.Garner starts for Watford tonight ??
Yep been watching bits of it. It’s basically Watford’s 2/3rd choice that started. Garner been decent. Looked confident on the ball and getting stuck in with some good tackles and interceptions. And Watford is losing 2-0 against Newport.
He's looking decent, thats right. Against Newport.Yep been watching bits of it. It’s basically Watford’s 2/3rd choice that started. Garner been decent. Looked confident on the ball and getting stuck in with some good tackles and interceptions.
I've been writing this pretty much since he played first couple of games for United. I just don't see anything in him. He's bang average at everything bar doing something unexpected like beating defender or passing the ball to opponents for free chances.Still no love for Dalot :/
Another terrible signing that should never of happened. Think he has potential but he’s a really long way off reaching it atm. Could do with going out on loan.Still no love for Dalot :/

Yup, think about it for a sec lol. Would you take Maguire over that Eric Bailly? Post Vidic/Ferdinand, our CB regulars have been Smalling, Jones, Blind, Lindelof, Bailly, Maguire and occasionally Mctominay ?Are you ******?
Maguire is 26, bought for world record fee for a defender and 13th overall. When Ronaldo came at Real, he was already their best player scoring something dumb like 26 goals in 28 games. Messi at 20 years was already considered the best player in the world, and at age of 22 he was winning Ballon d'Or.Even the likes of Ronadleo and Messi need a kick up the A** now and again don't forget.![]()
And reckless. There's nothing more terrible for a defender than to be reckless. Luckily for him, he has mad athleticism to recover, similar to Rio. But then the other part of Bailly problem kicked. His injury record and he's pretty much the same player he was at Villareal. In 4 seasons at Old Trafford, he has only 85 games.I never got as excited watching someone at United defend as how I would with Eric Bailly that season. Dude was a mad man and the most complete CB we've had following Rio Ferdinand as well. Strong, quick and his ball playing ability is/was underrated.
That's true, I misunderstood your point.And.... what's that got to do with them getting shouted at when they make a mistake. It doesn't matter whether a player is a world record fee, the best player in the world or a freebie once they walk on the pitch they are just as likely to need to be told what to do/encouraged/b*******d by other players.
