Pallister & Bruce individually were not the best when you stack them up against the best CBs to have played. However as a partnership those two are probably one of the best of all time.

Pallister was a fine ball-playing defender mate. Quick, great the air. Positionally sound. And real classy on the ball. Wasn't he the most expensive defender ever when Utd signed him?

Best CH in Britain at the time along with Des Walker and Richard Gough.

*Edit* Considering Hansen was coming to the end and suffering with his knees. Same Paul McGrath.

I'm happy with the Telles deal. At least Scouse can get to watch Alex Telles play ?

Not trying to put Telles down but these signings don't really excite me if I'm honest. They just seem like squad fillers more than anything rather than improving the team per se.

I'm still judging this window on getting a RW or not, because I'm still classing it as a poor window unless we do.

Ofc Telles isn't enough lol but we're getting a top class attacking LB who'd give our attack a different dimension but that doesn't solve all our issues...or even comes close.
