If we can integrate the new CB's into the side and not have our two best mids playing there we should be fine for top 4. I was quietly confident at Christmas when we were top but why on earth did I expect Matip to stay fit for the whole season lol. Utter collapse since then but it is what it is.

Teams still create chances even when Bailly is in team. Maguire at center of the pitch will always be a liability.

So wil Linderlof even more so. Yes teams create chances but not as many. And we also play higher up the pitch and don’t concede as many. It’s glaringly obvious we are a far better team with Bailly and Maguire.

It's just as bad as with Lindelof. And this is not Bailly vs Lindelof. This is about Maguire being liability. In most of the games United is allowing opponents 10+ shots. That's just unacceptable.

The whole CBS are a liability. That doesn’t mean you can’t make a good partnership if you add a quality CB that covers for the others floors. No you shouldn’t have to do that with how much Maguire cost but that isn’t his fault. He had the same issues at Leicester but he wasn’t getting exposed so much due to his partner and Leicester having one of the best DMs in the league. It’s nothing new he moves like the titanic lol.
 
Just seen an interesting stat. In the top leagues only top teams including. Home win % last season it was 60.7 this season so far it’s just below 37% ??

Leicester did not play the way United plays. Leicester Maguire sat a lot deeper and was less exposed.

17/18 Maguire played 38 games and Leicester finished 9 conciding 60! goals.
18/19 he played 31 games, Lecester ended 9th conciding 48 goals.

And btw Maguire never played with Ngolo Kante. Or do we think of Ndidi when talkinga about 'one of the best DMs in the league'?

Unfortunatly I cant find anything related to claim that my statement is correct, so feel free to search yourself. I might be wrong, Brendon Rodgers was their manager and he does not sit back.

Rodgers never played with Harry. Puel was then I think 17-19.

Indeed correct. Thought Rodgers finished his ride with Celtic and then joined, but yeah, he joined in Feburary, so had few months with Harry.
